when opening a pack, is it possible to skip choosing a card and add nothing to your deck?

i beat stage 30 on normal. YAY! however, my score didnt upload to the leaderboard. i also didnt unlock the third character, who needs you to beat stage 30 on any difficulty. i beat it on normal, and got the achievements, as well as Rumia's 3rd skill

im not sure if its intended or not, but you can change the order of cards in your drawn hand, but once they're in play you are unable to pick up and move them. it would be nice if you were able to change their order before you play
