Masterpiece! Cinema!

The first Happyhills Homicide game really caught my attention with the visual style and how it represents the nostalgia of the time it was set in. The storyline instantly got me hooked and I loved how details about both characters were revealed at a steady pace. The ending of that game set up for a sequel pretty well and I have since been patiently waiting for the release.

Now! With Happyhills Homicide 2: Out For Blood, I can straight away see the visual improvements made compared to the first and I love the little "Wrong way!" detail added in as I had the habit of always walking in the wrong direction in the last game. There is John Wade again and the detective but to spice it up a new character was added!

I love the switching between characters with these games and how you end up not knowing which character to cheer for as you are making progress with your own separate missions. I also love the new spare and kill mechanic as it feels like there is more choice for the player, however, as of my first play through, I am not sure if this effects the ending. The new acts in the sequel are definitely more gruesome than the last game and I really enjoyed the new visual novel style to the dialogue for the characters as it made them feel more alive!

Overall, I really enjoyed the sequel! There are moments that create tension as there are quick time events such as hiding, shooting, etc. The puzzles are also not too hard so for those who hate having to google for answers so that is a plus! I will say the one part about this game that made me physically jump was accidentally stepping on a stick which woke up the dog as the sound effects and ambience in this game really know how to keep you on your toes! I believe this really helps give this game a sense of uneasiness no matter who you are playing.

Great game and I definitely recommend giving it a shot especially for it's low price! :)

There was drama, a raving party, a prison, so much gore and story!
Honestly i thought this would be remotely close to the first game but the story continues and it gets INTENSE!
It reeled me in instantly and kept me entertained until the end! It really is OUT FOR BLOOD!

Truly a masterpiece!

Controls same as first Happyhills Homicide game BUT with switching surprises!
Can we talk for a minute about the in game music? ITS FREAKING AMAZING!!!

Overall, I recommend the game!
