Thank you for supporting Veil of Sanity! This patch focuses on enhancing the player experience in both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. We've made several quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, balance changes, and UI adjustments based on your feedback.



• Fixed a checkpoint bug where items would duplicate or appear in the inventory without being picked up.

• Resolved a bug causing the clown to duplicate in the end sequence.

• Fixed a second interaction bug with checkpoint objects.

• Corrected various random bugs affecting gameplay stability.



• 🧠 Sanity Drain: Reduced by 10%, allowing players to stay sane a bit longer.

• 🏃‍♂️ Stamina Drain: Reduced by 5%, giving more room to move and survive.

• 🔄 Stamina Regain: Increased by 4% to improve pacing.

• 🎈 Balloon Clown Teleportation Rate: Decreased from 34% to 25% – you’ll have more breathing room now.

• 🤡 Clown Post-Rage Nerfs:

1. Walk Speed: reduced from 430 → 400
   
2. Jog Speed: reduced from 530 → 500
   
3. Run Speed: reduced from 800 → 680
   

• Introduced new guide system when pressing

for controls and tips.

• New monkey indicators: A red dot appears above the monkey icon when in hand.

• Added a light guide to help navigate the monkey drop area.

• After picking up the monkey, a guide for controls has been added to assist players in using the monkey effectively.

•Adjusted layout in the jail section for better navigation and pacing.

• Relocated the skull jump scare for more impactful timing.

• Added a missing widget for door interaction.

• Updated ending widget visuals for clarity and consistency.



•Fixed visible camera placement bugs during the ending sequence.

•Resolved main menu access bug preventing entry to Chapter 2.

•Added hover effect on "Play Chapter 2" in the main menu.

• Corrected inspect note close button hover visuals.

• Addressed various miscellaneous bugs affecting gameplay and UI.



• Settings: Fixed the "Max FPS set to 0" bug.

• UI: Fixed the taskbar naming inconsistency.
