I prefer to turn the volume down in horror games in case of a jumpscare. Here, however, you have no choice but to turn in up. On the bright side, there aren't any jumpscares. There's certainly a monster, but he's predictable and doesn't shout in your face. The game, thus, is more of an escape room puzzle than horror.

The first playthrough can be tense as you're studying the map and where all the items lie. Then you're able to figure out the monster has a pattern and, more importantly, doesn't seem to react to neither your flashlight nor the sound of your footsteps. Though it will react when it sees you. Since figuring everything out is part of the fun, I won't spoil anything. I'll just say there are two endings but neither give any clues about what the game's plot may be. Still, it's fun, kinda frustrating at times, but ultimately satisfying.

Apparently a dark room with hard to see things = puzzle. Boring.
