This is an excellent demo and I'm absolutely interested in trying the final game. That said, combat balancing is extremely off at the moment.

PROS
- Excellent concept
- Solid progression, though some mechanics aren't explained as well as others (upgrading buildings / soldier levels / consequences of low morale)
- Gorgeous design for the entire thing, from menus to buildings to people to creatures
- Slavic soundtrack brings it all together
- You definitely feel the pressure to build up your army and defenses

CONS
- Where's the iron? You need to explore EXTREMELY far into dangerous territory to find iron, and it's a resource you will need quite early. It should not be that rare or hard to find. I once explored 80-90% of a map and found ZERO iron. Don't even ask about orichalcum and adamantite because I haven't seen any.
- AI attacks extremely aggressively even on the Easy map. With 4 days between Blood Moons, all followed by a Nightmare day, it soon becomes untenable.
- Nightmare days are awful. Maybe when the game has advanced a bit it's less of a problem, but early game it's a literal Nightmare to deal with. Prayers will likely be on cooldown and ghosts will attack throughout the day. Your villagers will be down in seconds and fires have a very short range, if you even have enough.
- Villagers do not seek shelter from attacks.
- There are too many invulnerable enemies for how long the cooldown is on Prayer. At the start of the game you will watch as your villagers are maimed and kidnapped and be stuck because these effing people haven't heard of CARRYING A TORCH.

So while yes, I do like the game and I'm sure some hardcore city builders/RTS fans will love it as it is, it definitely needs a solid rebalancing pass.

This game was pretty good! I would suggest the tutorial for sure (I know most games you should but.... you know......some people). But once you get through most of the tutorial it seems really easy to manage and figure things out.

I'm new to the game, 1.5 hours in. Here's my first impressions... no crashes, looks very polished! Well done. Some constructive criticism (hopefully)... from the title screen, I expected the monsters to be a little scarier. They amble in, quietly, and there's the red line to indicate where they're coming from, but there's zero horror about it...just something I need fend off. The minimap doesn't allow me to right click and move my people around quickly, thought that was a little odd. The pace is sloooooow... I'm jumping between 1x and 16x constantly, is that normal? There's no save option in the tutorial, but it's quite long. I had to pause it for lunch and come back to it. There's wildlife roaming around, and I can attack it, but I can't eat it. Oh, it's a skill I need to level up? Hmm. When my village is attacked, the villagers stand around like lemons. No fleeing, no hiding in their tents. Lastly, I was exploring no more than 60 seconds into a game and a bunch of enemies spawned ... no way to combat that, just restarted. Maybe that was just me, but seemed weird so early into the game.
