I'm leaving a recommendation but with many caveats. This is not a horror game! Read below.

It's just a card game, that's it. You get 4 sets of the same letter or number 4 times and you win. There is no horror and this game should not be labeled with that tag. The title is just the opening line in the game. It feels deceptive if I'm being honest, but I will not refund as I believe in supporting indie titles like this.

While it's a fun card game, I don't think the AI of the opponent is very fair as it guesses the exact card I picked up very often. In theory, it has a pretty low chance at random to guess what I picked up, let alone what I have in my hand, but it just seems to know exactly what card I just got 8/10 times. Sometimes it will do this many times in a row... which would be extremely unlikely with a human opponent. Also, after a while the dialogue gets very repetitive and you wish the game just didn't have dialogue so you could get to the next part of the game. The dialogue just bogs down the gameplay.

It's fun for like 30 mins, just isn't what I was expecting and I think the AI is a bit psychic.

I absolutely love The Chests Game! The gameplay is addictive and engaging, with a perfect blend of strategy and luck. The graphics are charming and the puzzles keep getting better as I progress. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun experience!
