I've literally just started playing the game and expected a semi dark comedy judging by the preview screenshots. WELL OH BOY IS THIS DARK AS HELL. It got weird real fast and I cannot wait to see how much weirder it'll become.

I'll probably come back and edit this once I finish the game, but so far it seems promising and ready to make me feel bad about my choices.

Edit: I finished it. 9 hours of very interesting writing, albeit with quite a few typos that hopefully get addressed in the future.

Somehow I didn't realize the plot twist until it actually hit me haha. Overall a 9/10 for me, the typos were getting annoying sometimes.

It's pretty good on steamdeck, however the only issue I had was the Encryptology segments. There was no video, only glitched stuff going on and I was beginning to think that there were things happening in the static that I was just too stupid to see. Then I found one walkthrough on YouTube and saw the person have actual video footage lol

Personally loved it and will probably replay it for the other endings. Looking forward to more of these games from the devs :)

Is it dark? Yes. Is it grim? Yes. Does it sound as evil as it is. Yes. Do you want to test the limit of your own discomfort? Then play the game....

Fighting Fantasy books hooked me in the 1980s and 1990s, but it's hard for my generation to get hooked again, despite the level of interaction shown here. Inhuman Resources has a nice story that grabbed me from the start, and plenty of replay value.
