MySims™: Cozy Bundle PC Update!

Today is the day, MySims is now available on Steam! We have loved bringing this game to you on Switch, so we’re excited that PC gamers now get to enjoy the same levels of cozy customization. But we aren’t done *just* yet. We have also been working hard on a couple new additions that will be coming to PC soon…. Stay tuned for more updates…

What's changed since the 2007 PC version?

We have all new PC controls - not just enhancing the keyboard and mouse functionality from the original PC version, but also adding controller support for Xbox and PlayStation controllers.
We’ve carried over the performance and visual improvements from the Switch version, including the new added features of Autosave, improved loading times, and the ability to shut off auto-camera rotation
We’ve carried over bug fixes from the Switch version including:
- NPCs will no longer have duplicates running around town
- Furniture will no longer disappear from NPC houses
- CAS will allow randomizing skin tones
- Buddy will no longer have a phantom task in Kingdom

Rendering Issues or Low FPS?

If you're experiencing graphical glitches, low FPS, or other rendering issues, your graphics drivers or DirectX version may be outdated or missing. For the best performance and compatibility, always update your drivers manually from the manufacturer’s website.

Also please check if you are using any non-EA overlays or hefty anti-virus software, as these may have unintended consequences on your game.

You can see our minimum and recommended PC specifications here for the best player experience – please make sure you have enough hard drive space, RAM, and the appropriate graphics card, etc.

We’ve heard your feedback: additional skin tones, and the ability to move Sims into the Garden area are both coming to PC!
Steam Deck compatibility work is underway, so you can play on the go
Fixes for some more top community reported bugs - for instance, that planted essences or buildings in the Garden do not persist after leaving.

What a joke

40$ for a game that came out in 2007 on a hand held, gtfo... I know this will piss people off and I am okay with that truly because this is pretty damn stupid. And if no one seeing what EA are trying to do then there is no hope for the gaming industry or gamer's at all....

I loved MySims series in my childhood and playing it again just brought my nostalgia playing this game back in the Wii. Which I am so happy, I get to play this again to fill in said nostalgia; perhaps someday, the other MySims game could be brought back like MySims and MySims Kingdom.

Anyway my thoughts
If you want something similar to Animal Crossing in Nintendo consoles, I would say play this game; they both had some similarity but still unique on their own way. Compared to the 'SIMS' series, MySims is very simple in term of gameplay since all you do is helped sims moved in and build their house then make something they want with the essence of their liking; Simple as that and doesn't need too much effort at all. It's relaxing and it doesn't take a long time to get 5 star town.

Despite the positive, the game has some flaws of course. Mainly when you have to use essence to the furniture, sometimes there's not enough blocks so you need to either add another blocks or drag the essence to be part of the furniture which is constant thing throughout the game. Another issue I had is that I wish there's a way to easily travel from places to places since you could go to the corner of the map to get essence and then go back to the workshop besides doing save and quit.

Overlooking the flaws, I would recommend this to anyone who just want to have a simple, relaxing, and cozy game to fill in their arsenal; It doesn't take a lot to play and it could easily just be a game that you wanna play if you're having a bad day and just wanna chill.
