We have updated to Ver.1.7.0.

Notice:

・All replay data for TGMstyle versions below Ver.1.7.0, as well as all versusmode replay data, can no longer be played back.

Changes:

・The BGM system has been revamped.

・The method for evaluating titles in NORMAL mode has been changed.

・Title icon display in NORMAL mode is now supported.
To see icons on the modeselection screen, you must earn the title again after updating to Ver.1.7.0.

・In marathon mode, you can now choose SPRINT or ULTRA.

・New rankings have been added for SPRINT and ULTRA.

・Some text on the options screen has been revised.

・All TGMstyle behaviors except for KONOHA have been overhauled.
As a result of these changes, the following replay data from versions below Ver.1.7.0 can no longer be played:
NORMAL and TGMstyle ASUKA / ASUKA (Easy) / ASUKA (Hard) / MASTER, SHIRANUI, and versus battles.

・Adjustments were made to SHIRANUI and versusbattle modes.

・In practice mode, when skipping levels in ASUKA (Hard), the foxcount correction range has been expanded (from 1000 onward).

・The results screen shown after game end has been redesigned.

・Certain endofgame effects in NORMAL and ASUKA have been tweaked.

・In score rankings and practice launched from replays, categories have been separated by control typeexcluding versus battles.
Switch controls with START on gamepad or F1 on keyboard.

Bug Fixes:

・Fixed an issue where, if you entered the preview screen from the 2P (rightside) gamepad or keyboard settings, it previewed using the 1P settings.
・Fixed a problem in Replay&Race where, if you selected Retry from the pause menu, the BGM could play at unintended times.

注意事項:

・Ver.1.7.0未満のTGMstyleのリプレイデータ及び、全ての対戦系リプレイデータは全て再生できなくなりました


変更点:


・ BGMのシステムを変更しました。

・NORMALモードにおて、称号の評価方法を変更しました

・NORMALモードの称号アイコン表示に対応しました
 モード選択画面で表示させるには、Ver.1.7.0更新後に再度獲得する必要があります

・marathonモードでSPRINT/ULTRAが選べる様になりました

・SPRINT/ULTRAのランキングが新設されました

・オプション画面のテキストを一部修正しました

・KONOHAを除く、TGMstyleの挙動を刷新しました
 これらの修正に伴い以下のVer1.7.0未満のリプレイデータが再生できなくなります
 NORMAL、及びTGMstyleの ASUKA / ASUKA(Easy) / ASUKA(Hard) / MASTER
 SHIRANUI / 対人対戦

・SHIRANUIや対人対戦モードを調整しました

・練習モードでASUKA(Hard)モードをレベル飛ばしでプレイした際のキツネの数補正を1000からに拡張しました。

・ゲーム終了後のリザルト画面を変更しました

・NORMAL/ASUKAにおけるゲーム終了時の演出を一部調整しました

・スコアランキングやリプレイから練習において、対人対戦のカテゴリを除いて操作タイプ別に分離しました
 操作タイプの切り替えは、ゲームパッドはSTARTボタン、キーボードはF1キー


不具合修正:

・ 2P(右側)のゲームパッド設定やキーボード設定からプレビュー画面に遷移した際、1P側の設定でプレビューしていた問題を修正しました

・リプレイと競争をプレイ中に、ポーズメニューからリトライ操作を行った際にBGMが意図しないタイミングで再生されることがある問題を修正しました

The new results screen looks amazing, but i have some feedback:
1. The results screen can be hard to read if your invisible board is revealed at the end of the game (such as after completing NORMAL)
2. Maybe add something that tells players to press a rotate button to proceed to the 'GAME OVER' screen?
I also noticed that the ARE for NORMAL has been increased, similar to how it was in TGM1 from what I can tell. If the ARE reduction that Pre-1.7.0 NORMAL had were to come back, maybe make a NORMAL HARD mode, as there is less ARE that you can use to charge DAS or use IRS with. While the ARE increase makes NORMAL easier, it also makes the gamemode slower.

I agree with DaKing08. Now TGM NORMAL mode is too slow and completely different game compared to that in previous version. I also want pre-1.7.0 option for playing.
NORMAL is far too slow. In the previous versions of TGM4, I liked that NORMAL was faster than the main modes of previous TGM games, but now it is too similar to TGM1. It is no longer as fun to play.
Mihara-san, please understand. It is distressing to me that the mode I enjoyed so much, since the release of the game, is no longer available. Please change it back, or offer the original NORMAL mode in another form. Please.
Maybe the previous Normal mode can be added as a Normal Hard difficulty?

I like all the changes, except for how slow Normal feels now. The delay between when a piece locks and when the next appears feels far too long. Could you please consider adding a toggle in the settings, or perhaps bring back the old Normal as "Normal (Hard)"? Thank you Miharasan and crew for all of your hard work on this game!

I agree that the time between pieces in Normal mode is too long now. To be clear, it doesn't feel like the game has become too easy as much as it feels like the game just doesn't feel natural to me anymore. Ironically, it makes the game more difficult to play for me. It also emphasizes using the "extra" button more to speed up gameplay (because it skips the delay between pieces), at the expense of a more difficult transition between "extra" and regular gameplay.

All of that said, I greatly appreciate the other changes made in this update and thank the TGM4 team for continuing to provide updates.

We love that so much development it going into TGM4, but many people miss the old version of Normal. :(

I also agree that the speed curve in normal is way too slow now, and i don't like that it encourages using the extra button way more now

As others said, NORMAL is now too slow. The old time curves were better.

As someone who doesn't particularly enjoy using the extra button, the new piece entry delays in Normal are too slow, they make the mode feel much worse to play. Having a slower mode for beginners is nice, but preserving the original speeds in a "Normal Hard" or something along those lines would be appreciated.

As others have said though, the other changes like the new end screens are very nice! And much appreciated
Hey y’all. The new ARE on TGM Normal is really long and it’s not fun. Please rethink that.

normal's gameplay difficulty was fine, the easier speed is definitely something that needs a rollback. Went from one of my preferred modes and a genuinely fun challenge to time attack (not really into the Extra button, too used to TGM2's sonicdrops) to something I don't see myself playing much more :(
