Hello im trying this game for first time. my pc is new and has i7 14700k and 4070 ti super. I get alot of stutter on max in campaign map and framrate is kinda low. Also, the shadows on campaign map flicker alot its very immersion breaking. Is there a fix for this?...

Given the multiple posts about problems with the game, from crashing to 'purchase campaign', to won't load, etc. , with no response from developers, it would seem that the game is abandoned.

I installed the gamer and launched it. However, when I click play it just takes me back to my library.

Playing as Charlemagne, you start in five wars (thankfully you can bail out of two of them). That leaves your armies on the other side of the country so you lose 1-2 cities on turn 1 no matter what. Your public order is -10 to -20 everywhere so whatever you do, a couple of regions will revolt within 5 turns or so. That means all the other regions will start revolting soon and your armies turn disloyal. Every army you manage to scrape together is just a bit smaller than the random enemy armies that pop up...
