Hey fellas

This update focuses more on UI changes to make systems of the game more understandable. The game will directly tell you why the player is restricted when equipping, upgrading or purchasing items.

I've also added two weapons as well. Don't say I don't look after ya.

Patch Notes:

Added the Gorgie, a new shield that is a boss weapon for the Giwormous boss.
Added the Overdyer, a new gun that’s currently in debug mode only.
Tweaked the layering of the blocking particles to appear behind the player.
Added a new Bandage Cosmetic, bought from Mr. Basanta after Whittle Road.
Loading… augment is out of debug mode and found in Croissance City Part 2 to better explain the “space” mechanic of augments.
Edited the Loading… augment description to be more clear.
Swapped the Storage Addon item with the Button Mashing augment to make the augment space system more clear.
The hidden room to the left of the second checkpoint in Croissance City Part 2 has been made a little more obvious to prevent accidental skipping of an important item.
Added an indicator that the player needs to equip a glove if looking at the trinket page without one equipped.
ERROR prompts appear when the player is denied purchasing, equipping or augmenting.
Added indicators to help indicate to players how many trinkets and augments they can equip.
The space of Augments is now indicated by visual instead of by a number.
Social links to Youtube and Discord have been added to the side of the Title Screen.
Overhauled the UI for Arena Matches to display the difficulty and be given red text instead of white to imply that Mars is writing these match descriptions.
Fixed typo from Mr. Basanta at the start of Fizzing Foundry.
Very slightly tweaked the BR-35 Exothermis sprite.

I've been lately asking questions on Reddit for ideas for names and weapons, been good way to engage with people and potential players.

EASOAR Patch - 1.2.2

Hey fellas

Small update after studying some more playthroughs, something I am so grateful for. It appears that mechanics aren’t explained too well, specifically when it comes to weapon heating and the fact you can equip two weapons at once.

Patch Notes:

Renamed the Player Stat: Ingenuity to Focus. Should make the stat more straight forward.
Reworded the description of Storage Addon, Weapons Parts and Weapon Tech to be more straight forward with their usage.
Rewrote Mrs. Basanta’s intro dialogue to better explain the weapon heating mechanic and how to avoid it.
Rewrote Mr. Basanta’s post-weapon choice dialogue to better explain that multiple weapons can be equipped instead of trinkets.

I plan for more improvements to come, and the sooner done, the better. Thank you so much for the feedback!

I am also aware of performance issues when it comes to the steam deck and areas like Whittle Road. I will be brainstorming ways to fix these to get the game running smoothly.

EASOAR Patch - 1.2.1

Hey fellas

Since shields are pretty new, they're probably unbalanced, but for now I've done some work to fix issues when it comes blocking explosions. There's also been this lingering bug since the dawn of time that the FOG from Whittle Road follows the player after leaving the level. Surely this time, it will be fixed...

Patch Notes:

The hitbox for explosions have been adjusted so there needs to be line of sight with no shield in the way to count as a hit. Since the hitbox is instant, it can spawn inside the player.
Going left before fighting Orchestra will not longer kill the player and play the cutscene again with strange effects.
Powersaws no longer linger in the air after Compass has been defeated while doing their projectile attack.
Darkmatter Oiseau has been adjusted slightly to not spam their "jumping projectile attack" half the fight. Now only done if the player is climbing up the walls.
Darkmatter Oiseau shouldn't have that lingering charge effect follow them after getting staggered
The fog should no longer follow the player outside of levels.

Hello and congratulations on the launch. There are several things I would like to know about the game: Are the keyboard and mouse controls rebindable? Is it possible to choose the mouse for aiming and the keyboard for movement (including dashing and similar abilities)? Are 5-button mice supported? How does the game save progress? If it is automatic, approximately, how much time between the checkpoints and whether they are available right before the boss battles? Is the story linear or branching? Are t...
