I thought that this would be a good alternative considering the cancellation of FM 25, however as soon as you start you get a problem. There is only one save spot, and if you want another you will have to pay for it.
As far as choice of clubs and nations to choose from, it is pretty good. Plenty to choose from. But for me that is about the only good point about the game.
The match engine is really poor, you will have players run pass the ball for no reason, the shots at goal will look as though they have got passed the keeper only for the ball to appear magically appear in his hands. If you remember the complaints about the match engine in FM 24, well that looks like a polished match engine when compaired to this game.
Another issue is when you are selling players. You could have a number of teams after one of your players, but unlike FM 24 where you can accept more than one offer, you cannot do that here. As soon as you accept one of the offers thats it.
It is a shame, there are just way too many negatives and hardly any positives. With the cancellation of FM 25, this was a free hit, a perfect oportunity to fill the void, and give gamers something that is worth playing, but this is not that game.
My advice, keep playing FM 24 and wait until FM 26 is released.
