It isn't, this happened in the retail version as well. Gamespy no longer supports the multiplayer so...

Servers? .lol hell there was hardly anyone playing online back 10-11 years ago.
its an ok game MP but i only remember there being 2 DM levels. The mp was an obvious afterthought.

i never played Q or UT, but i think Painkiller have faster movement vs Reflex

you living in Australia, so you ping will be probably unplayable on Italy & Russia servers

and Painkiller have very small community :/ maybe 1/8 community Reflex

You CAN play with each Via IP Address. Simply host a game, give your friend the IP and they can enter your server via the "join IP" button.

i used to host a dedicated server on my laptop, look into running your own

Yeah it’s been a while 2014 damn haha guess there’s no remaster coming not that i care I’ve gotten better games since couldn’t care less about painkiller

I actually came back to the game here on Steam and played it for quite a few hours before moving on. It's still and lot of fun, even today. I owned two different copies, I bought it way back when it was first released on a CD not DVD, so it was that long ago and I own the game on Steam.

I think there were attempted remasters but they never lived up to the original and they flopped.
