Fellow Resonators,

we're excited to bring you the first major feature update of the year - playstyle customization in the form of three difficulty adjustments:

They don't fundamentally change the game, but they allow the game to cater to a more varied mix of playstyles - those that are mainly interested in the story, those that like to add deducing hints from separate media, and those that enjoy a bit more of a mini-golfing challenge on top.
It's possible to change your preference anytime during your playthrough.

As always, our Discord and Steam Discussion boards are open for your Input and we are eager to adjust things along the way.

Stay tuned, there will be more! We have some exciting things coming from the studio throughout this year, all tied in to Mini Mini Golf Golf.

Patch 3.3

Fellow Resonators,

thanks to your Feedback, we were able to identify a number of small and enormous (when it came to some of the subtitles on the Mini Mini Talk Talk episodes) text based kerfuffles and are happy to report that they are all fixed now.

* fixed subtitles in MiniMiniTalkTalk episode 3
* fixed subtitles in MiniMiniTalkTalk episode 6
* fixed typo in "Breakup"
* fixed PDA not showing final segment
* fixed rare edge case of ball getting stuck on course boundary when jumping out of hole again.

Plus: A workaround for those affected by Steam Deck Issues:
If you installed the game on Steam Deck prior to the 3.2. patch, a typo in the Steam Cloud configuration has led to a catastrophic problem with save game folder file names.
Fortunately, things can be fixed by deleting the game's save game folder from Home/.config/unity3d/ThreeMoreYears (just remove that ThreeMoreYears folder), or just renaming the folder within from MIniMiniGolfGolf to MiniMiniGolfGolf.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this typo!

here's a small Patch to fix some major issues that were still present in the game.

✨ Patch to Version 3.23 ✨

fixed Issues with Steam Deck not starting (!)
fixed issues where Game was not startable when finishing intro without skipping (!)

Not sure if bug or missing something

Gotta say, I thought I was in for a little bit of mini golf and was completely surprised by what this game is. At the end, I did the Mom, Dad and Machine tunnels, but the clipboard in the "real"(?) world didn't acknowledge that I did it and had all the boxes unchecked. But with the nature of this game, I'm not sure if that is actually a bug or if I was supposed to do something special in these courses? Either way, I love how weird this game is, and I'm very intrigued and I'm looking forward to the full r...

Okay, this is wild

It's a mini golf game. Or just a disguise for something else? What else is down there? I guess there are several layers of storytelling - not sure if I found them all. But I'll keep digging. Love the art style! Will definitely check it out once released....

As others have said, this game is not for everyone. If you like thematic story-based games, you might enjoy this one. The gameplay is a bit too simple for my taste, but I don't play many narrative games so I am not the best judge.

The reason I gave this game a thumbs up is because I love the unique direction the developer took. It feels like there is a lot of passion put into this work, while I may not understand or even particularly love all of the decisions made. (The vlogs felt a bit superficial but maybe I missed some of the subtext behind them? I tried for ages to determine the significance of the clips that looped three times before cutting out, usually a number is said in the clip, - does that mean anything??)

All in all I'd love to encourage the developer to keep working on games - I'm excited to see what they come up with next!
