Handymans, what can we say – you absolutely blew us away!

We never expected so much interest and so many of you eager to jump in and play.

The numbers speak for themselves:

Nearly 500,000 people signed up for the playtest!
At peak, over 4,300 players were in-game at the same time!
We received more than 7,000 surveys filled with feedback, ideas, and reports of your… “creative shortcuts.”

These are huge numbers for us – and a huge motivation to keep going. Thank you for every bit of feedback, every report, and every kind word. We know plenty of things didn’t work, and some tools or walls seemed to have a life of their own and decided to fly off into space – but thanks to you, we now know exactly what needs fixing and polishing.

Now it’s back to work for us – there’s still a lot to do to make the game even better.

Hey Builders!

After weeks of patching holes, sanding bugs, and putting out fires (some literal), Low Budget Repairs is finally ready for its open playtest!

📅 Launches: Wednesday, July 30 at 1:00 PM CEST

What’s in this version?

This build is your first real taste of the full experience. Here's what’s waiting:

New apartments – new furniture, walls, and fresh opportunities for questionable repairs
Improved building mechanics – painting, drilling, gluing, assembling… all smoother than before
New: electricity system – do it right… or see what happens
Several hours of renovating, problem-solving, and maybe some light chaos

How long is the playtest?

It’ll run for several weeks – take your time and explore.

The playtest is completely open:

Reminder: This is an early build

Yes, it’s playable now – but it’s still a work in progress.

Hey there, handymen! Feel like playing something with a bucket of plaster and a power drill? Then we’ve got good news – a new playtest is coming!

📅 Planned date:
– Late June. We’ll share the exact date about a week before launch.
“You know how it goes – things still bugs from time to time, and we don’t want to promise a date we can’t hit. But we’ll let you know as soon as we lock it in.”

✅ Who can join?
– Everyone! This time the playtest is open – no closed groups, no keys, no shady downloads from suspicious sites. Just click and play, simple as that.

Got a virus downloading it?

Hi, I tried the early access, but as soon as I downloaded it, my mouse stopped working on the left clicking, and The game kept closing itself. After a few tries, I finally got to start a game, and The loading launcher kept spinning again and again. I've deleted the game from my laptop but I still have the same issues while playing Skyrim (mouse and black screen issues). One of my friends said that this game has a virus in it, and now someone is using my laptop to mine some crypto money. I know that I may s...
