A small collection of horror games from 3 developers all for free. Here are my thoughts.

A DATE TO REMEMBER:
The most stylish of the games in the collection with a solid atmosphere & multiple endings. I had a great time exploring the house & feeling the tension around every corner. I really liked the ability to zoom in & look around for more detail and highlight the interaction objects.

STATUAM:
Another tense exploration but this time through a hedge maze while being chased by a statue that moves only when it is not being looked at. I noticed that the statue gets faster every moment you wait. It's really cool & the physics for the latern really add to the immersion.

THE BEWDLEY INCIDENT:
Quite a short game overall, but that is the point of the collection. I liked seeing the different people going about their lives & the very subtle differences to see who the skinwalker is. I like the fact it is randomly generated each time you play so it keeps the guessing of the character fresh. The monsters are cool too!

BOOI'S SPOOKY VACATION:
Probably my favourite throughout the entire collection. It is very creepy with underlying analog horror tones. What really threw me off was at first it is very different to the rest of the collection, but that is part of the charm. It reminds me slightly of the graphical style of the old donkey kong games. Don't sleep on this one, it's GREAT!

THE NEST:
Environment wise, this game is striking. It is quite large & has full voice acting/subtitles too. The lighting is really good & the environment feels alive. It's a little long compared to the rest of the games, but if you don't mind being chased by a giant mothman!

Good collection of bite-sized games for the great price of free. Mileage may vary depending on taste, but I found 3 great games here.


"A Date To Remember" by D. Zenith was neat. I just saw that house in the Trash Horror Collection 5, but the heavy post processing breathed new life into the location. Probably my favorite of the bunch.

Though "The Bewdley Incident" from Aaron Wise was great too. Observe some neighbors and guess which one is the Thing.

That said, can't discount "Booi's Spooky Vacation" for being another Andriano Sliva banger.


The Nest and Statuam didn't hit, both being confusing samey mazes where you collect items and avoid an active stalker. Not my jam.

Still, the promise of more games future updates down the line is exciting. Wonder what we'll see and when.

Delightful pack of short horror games! Almost like a flight of games - each plays to a different style of horror game, so great to try and see what kinds you might like. lovely presentation in each.

am excited to see what they do with the pack from here, considering they plan to add more!
