My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant

To the devs: A lesbian game aimed at female gamers?
Hi Devs, I certainly noticed this game! I'm wondering if, in the future, would you be inclined to make a game around lesbian sexuality aimed at female gamers?

There are a few games on Steam coming through that have lesbian overtones, but they're pretty much aimed at male gamers. Do you have any plans to make a lady-centric game? I realise people think they're not worth bothering catering to, but there are quite a few female gamers, and I'm sure chaps would like to play it as well.

I look forward to getting this game when I've worked through my Steam sale goodies, but well done for getting Greenlit.

Over and out :)

May I suggest Hate Plus? There's a couple of lesbian relationships I thought were portrayed well in that game. It's got more of that going on than the first game Analogue does. It's mostly just text though. An adventure game might be nice too.

While I myself am male, I'd like to add my support for that idea, whatever it might be worth. And yes, I'd play it.

Apart from that, I'm not going yell about having my male-centric misinformed ideas included.

EDIT: Also, yes, I second the praise for Analogue and Hate Plus. Also, Romance Detective (a free visual novel). Also, also, the Rising Angel games.

I'm no expert, but if the dev team is all males, then I don't think they should make a game about lesbian relationships. It wouldn't feel geniune. But okay, if we want parodies and humor-filled games, then I guess it's fine.
Uhh... just a silly question here but... why do lesbians get their own seperate word grouping outside of the term "gay"? Why is it gay's and lesbians? Why can't there be equality there and just one word, gay, same as ♥♥♥♥/heterosexuals having the same word, people. Just something I've always been confused about.

Go out in the streets, and ask people who they think about when hearing the word "gay". I bet you $10 you will get nearly 100% dudes.

Hanako Games (Long Live the Queen, Magical Diary, Science Girls) is making a game about an all-girls school that will apparently have relationships between ladies and mystery-solving, and all of her games have been aimed at girls so far.
It's called Black Closet: http://www.indiedb.com/games/black-closet

Aside from the fact that most people will think guys when they hear gays, a lot of gay men hate lesbians so theres another reason. I'm not sure what the MAJOR reason for the difference is though.
As to the term lesbian:
Ursprünglich geschrieben von Wikipedia:
The word lesbian is derived from the name of the Greek island of Lesbos, home to the 6th-century BCE poet Sappho.
Fun fact: Sappho also gave us the word "sapphic." So, in an parallel universe (according to my incredibly rudimentary understanding of the multiverse thing), lesbians are probably called "sapphics" or "sapphicists"
Though the process of going from a Greek poet, to a term for female homosexuality is probably a lot different. And somewhat homophobic, because it was the 19th century.

Games featuring lesbians? I would definitely say Gone Home.

Except that Gone Home isn't actually a game.

Highly illogical.

I would sooner buy a furry game filled to the brim with autisim, than spend half a penny on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 7 bloody sundays game which is targeted at steams most beta demographic.

What does that even mean?
