The battles have a strange lag to them. I wish this was another remake like the F3 remake, or better yet, the FF4 port on the PSP we got about a decade ago. The auto-battle isn't that much faster than the base speed. Even the menu windows are really RPGMaker-esque. Saving your game has a redundant confirmation screen to it. Overall a lazy disappointment. If you want something that looks like this but feels/plays better, get the FF3 3D remake. A shame the FF more people wanted was the worse port. This review comes from a guy who has beaten the original 6 games. Really wanted to like it.
