We're happy to announce that the development of our magical and cozy retail management sim, Alchemist Shop Simulator, has come to a conclusion and there's only a bit over 2 weeks of wait before the FULL release (that's right - no Early Access).

We aimed to expand and improve on the popular concept of shop management games by giving it some more immersive mechanics (like potion brewing, gardening, little story-quests) and a vibrant, funny, fantastical world. We'd love to hear from you - did we succeed?

For the last several months lots of Steam players tried the demo (currently enjoying 100% positive rating!) and provided us with feedback. Some content creators who already got their hands on on the full game preview copies have been in touch with us as well. Thanks to all the amazing people who played the game and took their time to give us their thoughts we've been able to improve on the initial state of the game immensely. We'll be launching a far superior game to what we originally had in mind - all thanks to the wonderful community of Steam players.

The Alchemist Shop Simulator Demo has undergone an extensive revamp as well. What everyone will play now, at Steam Next Fest is fully representative of the current state of the full game, so you can have a real taste of the alchemist's world and life in magical retail. Just mind the fact that the demo will be going away soon after the Next Fest ends (but probably not immediately).

Upon completion of our Alchemist Shop Simulator, Kool2Play now puts its focus on its tropical follow up - Pirate Cove Simulator. No worries - this doesn't mean we're not planning on updating Alchemist Shop Simulator. On the contrary - we look forward to all the post-release feedback, as it will give us opportunity to improve and expand BOTH of the games.

Pirate Cove Simulator will be getting its own demo soon - no later than April - when we're satisfied that it includes everything we've learned during and soon after the launch of its predecessor.

When we first released our demo, Alchemist Shop Simulator was still early in the development. Now, as the game is more or less done, and we're focusing on giving it some final polishing touches, we couldn't bare the thought that the demo players are experiencing an outdated version of our game. Time to change this! Today, we're rolling out Demo v. 1.0.1, with all the bells and whistles of the full game.

• There's a save and load function now, along with three save-slots to have more than one game going at once
  
• The town came to life with NPCs going about their business or just idling like... well... like NPCs
  
• A lot of Quality-of-Life improvements were introduced to the game, like pinning potion recipes in the grimoire so that they will levitate above the alchemy station, quick search bar for items in storages and store, and many others
  
• Display with aspect ratios other than 16:9 are now better supported
  
• The missing Korean localization was added
  
• A settings menu was added
  
• Lots of bugs were fixed

Just in time for Wholesome Games Celebration, we've just launched the demo of our Alchemist Shop Simulator on Steam, and we're really excited to see people trying out our game. With this title, we're sticking to the traditional release scheme - no Early Access is planned. Instead - we're looking now at couple of months of additional polish before we announce the release date.

For that reason, all player feedback is extremely valuable to our little team. We're testing the game ourselves, of course, and we'll be working with external QA team before the release. This is not about asking you to help us ship to get rid of the bugs for free (although, bug reports are always welcome, too!). It's about getting your insight on the game.

We're excited to announce Alchemist Shop Simulator, a game about running a magic shop and brewing potions, that we're working on here, at Kool2Play. We take the proven, super-fun and addictive retail management gameplay and put our very own spin on it, infusing it with potion crafting, comedy, and quirky clients.
