Alchemist Shop Simulator has just received an update introducing a lot of quality-of-live improvements and fixes. You can check the entire changelog for ver. 1.03 below, but before that let please give us a moment to thank all the players who have contacted us here on Steam, or via our Discord[discord.gg], to tell us what they think about the game and their ideas on how to improve it. Changes:

• In cursor mode (accessible via [TAB], a button was added that allows you to teleport to the shop (by a teleportation rune the player now carries).
  
• Plant labels are now smaller, so they don’t obscure other labels as much.
  
• Customers now pay slightly smaller amounts, resulting in less change being returned.
  
• It’s now possible to sell shelves and flowerpots. Just aim at them and press R to open a popup. If a pot contains a plant or a piece of furniture holds items, it cannot be sold—a popup explains why. These items sell for half their original value.
  
• Going to sleep now progresses the growth/wilting of plants. It’s a fairly complex system that also takes into account upgrades (such as the cloud that waters plants).
  
• A vertical scrollbar has been added to the skills screen, allowing navigation on wider screen resolutions. All resolutions should be playable now - if there's still any trouble, please let us know!
  
• Pressing ESC while using the alchemy table no longer opens the pause menu, but instead causes the player to stop using the table.

Bug Fixes:

• It’s no longer possible to take an item out of a chest when its quantity is set to 0. (sorry folks!)
  
• Fixed a bug where it was possible to spend 2 skill points on the same skill by clicking the button before the animation finished. This should prevent players from being able to complete the skill tree.
  
• Fixed a bug that caused the mailbox icon to not always appear when a new letter arrived.

There you have it, matey. The long-awaited demo to the second of our retail sims is now out for every landlubber and salty dog to try out for themselves. The game shares some ideas of the Alchemist Shop Simulator, but comes with a lot of original takes and new mechanics, so make sure to check the demo out. We're happy to announce that the development of our magical and cozy retail management sim, Alchemist Shop Simulator, has come to a conclusion and there's only a bit over 2 weeks of wait before the FULL release (that's right - no Early Access).

We aimed to expand and improve on the popular concept of shop management games by giving it some more immersive mechanics (like potion brewing, gardening, little story-quests) and a vibrant, funny, fantastical world. We'd love to hear from you - did we succeed?

For the last several months lots of Steam players tried the demo (currently enjoying 100% positive rating!) and provided us with feedback. Some content creators who already got their hands on on the full game preview copies have been in touch with us as well. Thanks to all the amazing people who played the game and took their time to give us their thoughts we've been able to improve on the initial state of the game immensely. We'll be launching a far superior game to what we originally had in mind - all thanks to the wonderful community of Steam players.

The Alchemist Shop Simulator Demo has undergone an extensive revamp as well. What everyone will play now, at Steam Next Fest is fully representative of the current state of the full game, so you can have a real taste of the alchemist's world and life in magical retail. Just mind the fact that the demo will be going away soon after the Next Fest ends (but probably not immediately).

When we first released our demo, Alchemist Shop Simulator was still early in the development. Now, as the game is more or less done, and we're focusing on giving it some final polishing touches, we couldn't bare the thought that the demo players are experiencing an outdated version of our game. Time to change this! Today, we're rolling out Demo v. 1.0.1, with all the bells and whistles of the full game.

• There's a save and load function now, along with three save-slots to have more than one game going at once
  
• The town came to life with NPCs going about their business or just idling like... well... like NPCs
  
• A lot of Quality-of-Life improvements were introduced to the game, like pinning potion recipes in the grimoire so that they will levitate above the alchemy station, quick search bar for items in storages and store, and many others
  
• Display with aspect ratios other than 16:9 are now better supported
  
• The missing Korean localization was added
  
• A settings menu was added
  
• Lots of bugs were fixed

Just in time for Wholesome Games Celebration, we've just launched the demo of our Alchemist Shop Simulator on Steam, and we're really excited to see people trying out our game. With this title, we're sticking to the traditional release scheme - no Early Access is planned. Instead - we're looking now at couple of months of additional polish before we announce the release date.

For that reason, all player feedback is extremely valuable to our little team. We're testing the game ourselves, of course, and we'll be working with external QA team before the release. This is not about asking you to help us ship to get rid of the bugs for free (although, bug reports are always welcome, too!). It's about getting your insight on the game.
