For those that are stating this game is P2W has never played Marvel Snap. I have not spent a dime on this game, and i have unlocked a lot of content, leveled up my cards, acquired new hero's, equipment for each faction. If you like HS BG, then you will like this game. It is not a clone of HS, yes it has some similarities but works in its own way. Don't listen to the negative reviews, give the game a try and find out for yourself.

Battlegrounds WITH GREED. If you ♥♥♥♥ money maybe.

Either spend a lot of time playing the game to upgrade your decks or spend a lot of money to upgrade your decks. It's *very* hearthstone like. Imagine if Hearthstone Battleground didn't have a turn timer. Start of your run, there are only 3 "tribes" plus the neutral "tribe" Your shop only has 3 slots, no matter what tier your shop is (this makes rolling worse as you level). The first half of the run, you're trying to score in the top 4. You have 4 turns to do this. Then it takes the top 4 from 2 different runs (so it picks 8 players out of 16) and pits you against those other 7 players, but this time with 3 health. If you lose a match, it's minus 1 health, but in the first phase, it's get 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss. Essentially, it's *heavily* RNG based in the beginning phase. About half my games, I don't make it past the first stage.

I played around with some builds, at least with the first dealer you get. Dwarves are really OP if you can get it going. Barrier guy + Overwhelm guy + +1/+1 when you cheer guy + brew conjure cards. Big dragons can be good if you get lucky. Orcs with multistrike Avenge(2) guy can clean up lobbies if everyone else is weaker.

It's a huge RNG based game. Since you only have 3 slots in the shop. You end up just rolling to try and get a tribe of the build you're going for. Or waiting to actually get a build defining card. I'm consistently getting 2nd or 3rd place in games where I get past the first phase. I'm in Gold 4 and it's seems like everyone's cards are upgraded *way* more than I am. The game encourages paying to upgrade your decks to compete. I've played about 20 hours and feel like I can quit. I've got my time's worth...for free. I'm not complaining, just wouldn't recommend this game.
