Our previously announced new adventure with Robin Hood is now available on Steam!

Take advantage of the launch discount to get it and watch our broadcast to get a sneak peak of what the game is like!

Robin's most trusted allies are being raided by the Sheriff's forces and it's up to the legendary hooded outlaw to stop them! Set up defenses in the form of walls, gates, towers and traps.
Construct various buildings to provide yourself with a resource income and upgrades to your existing structures as well as Robin's skills to effectively fend off the incoming waves of enemy soldiers.
Hire allied warriors to fight by Robin's side as he leaps into the fray himself to vanquish the foes personally.

And quite the year it's been! We couldn't possibly be any more grateful to all of you who decided to embark with us on this Sherwood Forest adventure of ours! 🏹 Thank you for the time we shared and all the feedback you provided, both praise and criticisms. The journey continues!

Speaking of which, we'd like to take the opportunity to also bring you some news on our extra related project, Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders!

We'll be officially releasing the game here on Steam on March 10th!

Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is our way of bringing you a different experience with our hooded hero! In the game, you defend the homes of Robin's most faithful allies from the incoming armies of the Sheriff, wave after wave of them! Build up walls, towers, resource production buildings, hire soldiers, and finally leap into the fray with Robin himself!

👉 Please remember that Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is not a DLC of Sherwood Builders. It's a standalone game that you can enjoy without having to follow from our previous game's story.

Meet Eddie Wiser, the unlikely hero of our new project's story. Though he may not seem like it, Eddie's been handy with the hammer and wrench ever since he was just a wee troublemaker.

Always tinkering with one machine or another and with an equal penchant for running into trouble with the law, he eventually grew up to be a sly entrepreneur. And his brilliant scheme of the day is to run a laundromat as a front for a whimsical forgery workshop hidden away in its back!

What led him to such a wild enterprise? Well, it'll be your job as the player to find out as you help Eddie run his daily activities:

Serving the laundromat's customers
Repairing machines
Decorating your venue
Ordering supplies
Placing all the different items and managing space
Handling laundromat finances
Assembling various counterfeiting machines in the back
Selling the different fakes to your friendly neighborhood fence
Accepting special counterfeiting jobs
Dealing with the local mob and authorities
Taking care of an infuriating grandmother

On Screen Prompts

Some of the on screen prompts are in Polish despite my having the language set to English. Much as I like Polish people and Polish food, and grew up with a favorite aunt who was Polish (who married my uncle), and went to the annual picnic every year at St. Stanislaus and danced to polka music with my Polish high school girlfriend, and even got roaring drunk once on wisniowka, I still can't read Polish. It's a great game, by the way. But full English when set to English would be good. Thanks!...

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.

In this episode I check out a unique take on the Tower Defence Genre with Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders. This game was developed by Mean Astronauts, and is published by Playway SA, who released several Simulation Indie Games ive previously reviewed including Medieval Machine Simulator, Gunsmith Simulator and Beer Factory. Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is a semi sequel to the developers previous game Robin Hood: Sherwood builders, with the player reprising the role of Robin Hood, the famous Outlaw. In this game your objective is to defend your new home from the forces of the Sheriff of Nottingham, who has raised an army to hunt down Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

The player will need to carefully manage their resources, building mines, lumber mills and banks to provide resources, and then to use these resources to build defences to repel invading forces. This will include defensive walls, archer towers and ballistas, as well as outfitting an army of your own to repel your foes. In addition to a selection of fiendish traps such as spikes and explosive barrels, the player can acquire a huge range of arrows which Robin can use to even the odds, including poisonous arrows, fire arrows and smoke bombs as well as trap arrows which can be deployed to provide a deadly surprise.

While the game only had a small selection of three levels, there is a wide array of unlockable weapons, defensive buildings and perks to unlock as you complete each run, as well as providing a huge challenge for the player. I recommend this game if your looking for a challenging Tower Defence game, or if you are a fan of the developers previous title

Fact, its quite simple and far from the original version but still fun. I hope the devs will add more maps to the original game.
