⚔️ SOS Update Announcement – May 2025

Hello Guardians!
We’ve been tuning, slashing, and refining to bring you the latest SOS update! Here's what’s new and improved in this version:

🧭 Tutorial Overhaul

Added Skip System – now you can jump past sections if needed!
Introduced Task System to guide you step-by-step.
Updated tutorial dialogue font (Aggro Font) and character portraits.
Increased Speed Mode from 1.0x ➜ 3.0x for a smoother experience.
Fixed a bug where leftover notes appeared at event transitions.
Tutorial functions no longer run during regular gameplay.
Refreshed tutorial UI with updated images.

🖼️ Profile Enhancements

Updated note images – removed outer borders for a cleaner look.

🎵 In-Game Improvements

New Beat Circle effect added — toggle it on/off in settings!
Monster animations revamped with updated animation speeds.
Fixed bugs with Combo Monster behavior.
Fixed an issue where Repeated-Tap Monsters occasionally caused incorrect MISS counts.
Adjusted overall animation tree structure and timing for better flow.

🛠️ Other Fixes & Improvements

"Sunshine 2T HD" chart updated with the correct version.
Applied a new global font across the game for a fresher look.

🎵 Hello Guardians!

We’ve got an exciting update for Sound of Slash! Based on your feedback and sharp eyes 👀, we’ve been working hard to bring improvements and polish to your rhythm-slashing experience. Here's what's new:

🧭 1. Tutorial Mode is Here!

Many of you told us it was hard to figure out how to play without any guidance — so we heard you loud and clear!

A brand-new Tutorial Mode has been added!
We included a special tutorial-exclusive track to get you started.
Bug fix: Combo indicators lingering during the tutorial? Fixed!
Added a Tutorial Button in _04_GAMEMODE.
Hold Note bug fixed: Monsters no longer remain if the note is failed midway.
Tutorial dialogue is now fully translated to English.

🎮 2. Gameplay Improvements

Fixed bug where Long Notes didn't match intended lengths.

Adjusted Back-to-Back Material to Unlit for better visuals.
Improved Combo flow: Now transitions smoothly from Combo 5 back to Combo 1.

🖼️ 3. Profile & Animation Fixes

Now when you click your profile, your image updates accordingly!

Fixed a bug where the Desert Idle Animation wasn’t looping.

🎵 Sound of Slash (SOS) Update Announcement! ⚔️

Hello, Guardians!
We’re back with a minor but meaningful update for Sound of Slash (SOS). Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve made a couple of important adjustments to improve your gameplay experience from the very beginning. Check out the details below!

🛠️ Calibration Improvements

🎧 New Calibration Track (120BPM Metronome)

We heard from many new Guardians that the original calibration song was too fast, making it difficult to properly set up the rhythm.
To make the process smoother, we’ve added a new calibration track based on a steady 120BPM metronome. Now, even newcomers can calibrate with ease and jump into battle confidently!

🎼 Music List Adjustments

🎵 Cleaned Up Test Tracks & Missing Notes

In the previous version, a few tracks were missing notes or were uploaded for testing purposes.
We’ve done a full clean-up to ensure that every song is polished and ready to enjoy. Dive back in and slash to the beat without interruption!

Why would you add a generic theme in the trailer of a RHYTHM game? I see some gameplay, I'd like to hear the track that is being played in that gameplay.
