This update comes later than expected, and for good reason. Between mid-February and early March, we encountered several setbacks that slowed us down more than anticipated.

One of the biggest challenges was quite literal—a storm caused electrical instability, frying one of our systems. While replacing the motherboard was straightforward, selecting a new GPU was a tough call in today’s market. After much deliberation (and a fair share of frustration), we gathered everything needed to get back on track.

Fortunately, this hardware issue only affected the design side of development. Our writer has been forging ahead uninterrupted, continuing work on Scarlett Steele: Viral Temptation.

Despite these delays, we remain on track to complete the Revamp this month, leaving the rest of the year dedicated to finishing the game. Your patience and support mean the world to us, and we can’t thank you enough.

From the very beginning, I knew that writing was just as crucial as visuals in bringing Scarlett Steele: Viral Temptationto life. However, in the early stages, with limited renders, I relied heavily on narration to build immersion. While this created a rich and detailed experience, it also resulted in an overwhelming amount of text.

Your feedback was loud and clear: the writing needed to be more engaging, immersive, and concise. Now that our studio can produce a far greater number of renders and animations, we have the opportunity to refine our storytelling to better align with industry standards—and, most importantly, with your expectations.

So, what’s changing? Let’s dive in:

🔹 Engaging Dialogues

With revamped scenes, I’ve strengthened the connection between visuals and text. Dialogue has been rewritten, refined, and even expanded, while excessive narration has been cut. The result? More natural, immersive conversations that truly bring the story to life.

🔹 Minimal Narration

I’ve removed 95% of the narration—yes, you read that right! No more long-winded descriptions of events you can now see unfold on screen. Instead, narration has been trimmed or replaced with character dialogue and Scarlett’s inner thoughts, creating a more cinematic experience.

🔹 More Choices, More Impact

Who doesn’t love choices? While Chapters 1 and 2 already featured key decisions, we’re taking it even further by introducing more mid-impact choices. These will influence how scenes play out, deepening your connection with Scarlett’s journey while maintaining the major choices that shape the ending.

This is just the beginning of Scarlett Steele: Viral Temptation’s evolution. The Revamp will appeal to even more players while bringing fresh excitement to those already on board.
