Warrior Kings Remastered Edition?

is this the old version or the remastered edition?

There actually is a "Remastered version" (labelled on the box) released like one year after the original release, which is the same game just with a v1.4 patch and published with a new publisher (Empire instead of Microids).
The version on Steam and GOG is the Empire v1.4 "Remastered" one.
