After beating the game, If I missed, like, one teddy bear from chapter 14, I have to go through all the 14 chapters once again? That's just ridiculous! And there's only autosaves here. Really disappointing

Am I at the mercy of the auto save progress here? Is there any way of saving progress through the stages or if due to time constraints I have to quit during a level, I have to return to the beginning on restart?
