Our goal is to release the best version of Sanctree, and we strongly believe that community involvement is crucial to achieving this. Through Kickstarter, we hope to build a community of passionate backers who can actively participate in the development process. With your support, we aim to create the best game possible.

So far, development has been entirely self-funded. While we have the resources to complete the game, there are numerous features we dream of adding but currently lack the means to implement. Imagine defending your Sanctree alongside your friends. Yes, we aim to create a resource-intensive, high quality multiplayer mode. 
We want to build a multiplayer experience that players will love to invite their friends to join. To make this happen, we need to hire additional programmers, designers, and artists dedicated to crafting this experience, which will significantly increase our budget.

We are committed to completing the game in a timely and comprehensive manner. If the Kickstarter campaign does not reach its goal, we will still release the game, but the multiplayer features may initially be more basic until we can further develop them with funds from game sales.

We invite all backers to join our Discord community to access daily developer diaries and maintain an open line of communication with us. Together, we can make Sanctree the best it can be.

Hello Guardians!
Today, We’d like to share some insights from our development process for the world and underworld of Sanctree. We hope you find it interesting! 🚀

The worldview of this game originates from a project we created long ago, which includes four completely different worlds: the Prehistoric World, the Sci-Fi World, the Fantasy World, and the Mystical World. Each world operates under different physical, biological, and even magical rules, resulting in unique ecosystems. Players will embark on adventures across these four worlds.
However, the scope of creating all four worlds was too vast, so we decided to start with the "Prehistoric World." The most distinctive feature of this world is that plants possess subjective consciousness. In this world, insects are rampant and highly aggressive, prompting plants and birds to form an alliance against them.

Different plants have evolved unique weapons based on their characteristics (for example, the Spitting Cucumber uses its seeds as shrapnel), but plants cannot move.
Therefore, birds have evolved arms to wield plants as weapons against insects.🔫⚔️

Our envisioned underworld is composed of various ecosystems (such as spider caves, ⛵coral forests, and other confidential environments). Each ecosystem boasts distinct artistic styles, resources, monsters, dungeons, and a variety of treasures.

There are indestructible bedrock barriers and upper-level BOSS nests between different ecosystems. Thus, every stage of the counterattack offers a new experience (unlocking certain gameplay systems along the way).
