Developer's Notes #1: What we've been up to

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been patiently waiting for our game. We know many of you have been eager to hear new updates, so today, we’d like to share a small part of what’s been going on.

Taking a Step Further

Back in February, we held a private Focus Group Test. Many players participated and thanks to the amazing feedback and in-depth data, we’ve been able to further move forward with the direction of the game. Since then, we’ve been focusing on refining areas that needed improvement and pushing the overall polish to the next level.

To give you a small glimpse of what was tested during the FGT, Soroma Stronghold stood out as one of the most popular areas in the game.

There are rumors of a mysterious presence near Soroma Stronghold. To uncover the truth, someone may need to venture deep into the mist.

Travelers will naturally come across this region during their journey, but Soroma Stronghold is far from just another exploration site. It carries a strange, eerie atmosphere, as though something important is hidden within. What could be waiting inside?

Among all the content in the test, Bounty Hunting came out as the most popular. Tracking and taking down powerful targets requires not just skill but a little bit of observation and patience.

One of the most frequently hunted bounties was Ravenous Bog. This hulking brute may appear clumsy, but don't let that fool you. As for where you might run into him… we’ll leave that for you to discover when the time comes.

Since the release of our latest trailer, the development team has been working relentlessly to deliver a game that truly meets the expectations of our players. Just don't... do not buy this do not support the devs and DO not support Kakao games. They will destroy this game and it will DEFINITELY be pay to win and for sure be abandoned once they have drained the pay pigs. DO NOT BUY I'm telling you this now to save you from the disappointment you will definitely get. Kakao will mask the monetization early so the morons will buy this or start playing then they will slam in P2W it happens every time with all of there games....

Kakao games seems to have a tendency to just go radio silent for long periods of time I'm noticing, has there been any news on the closed beta?

Throne and Liberty has set a high bar, but I'm confident that Chrono Odyssey (or Archeage Chronicles) can rise to the challenge and offer a compelling alternative for MMO players.

Please use Sex or Gender, and not the stupid Body types

I really enjoyed the gameplay and visual snippets of the game on Youtube and the sheer variety of builds and beautiful character and world design. And it would be the cherry on top if the game uses the biological sex in character creation. And I think most players share my feelings, both in the East and the West. As it's a minority of people who try to insert body types instead, the same people who are uglyfying women in video games, and removing features like rear and boobs sliders, and jiggle physics. T...
