Welcome to the eastern nation of Azuma! In this fresh take on Rune Factory, use your powers as an Earth Dancer to restore the land, its people, and even its gods. Along the way, battle corrupted monsters, rebuild seasonal farms and villages, and form bonds with the colorful locals.

Features

Adds the ability to adjust village farmer behavior in the Options menu. You can now toggle the following tasks on or off: sow seeds, water fields, and harvest crops.

Bug Fixes

Adjusted the volume of certain lines for Zaza and Woolby in Japanese.
The Sacred Sword can now harvest crops over a wider range.
Added new warp points for Spring Village's and Autumn Village's development zones.
Fixed a bug where players could not obtain the Evasive Leg Guards. You can now purchase them at blacksmiths once your village level is high enough.
Fixed a bug where the ema plaque request "The Divine Sword Dance is the Best!" would not be available.
Adjusted the Blade Shard drop rate so you can now obtain them from high-level toad and fallen warrior enemies.
Fixed bugs that halted progression during certain Bonding Quests.
Fixed a crash bug upon start-up caused by failure to obtain display information.
Minor bug fixes

I recommend the game I love it and enjoyed very much!

However, Marvelous please add back the dungeon seeds! The weakness this game has is its post game content. There aren't many dungeons or challenges post game just one. While with the dungeon seed we can use it post game to get AI generated dungeons which difficulty can scale depending on the degree of health or strengths of the dungeon plant.

This is what made Rune Factory 4 being able to be play consistently.

This vs Rune Factory 5?

I haven't played any Rune Factory games, but I am a cozy game lover! From what I gather, this latest entry is much better received than Rune Factory 5. However, when I was looking at how long each game takes (ie, having more "bang for my buck), it seems that Rune Factory 5, being part of the main series, takes longer to complete and is cheaper. But Steam reviews are not as good. Thoughts? Should I get a cheaper, longer game, or a newer and more well-reviewed one?...

Gets boring fast. Even for a spinoff it's quite sad, same repetitive dialogue from npcs. Theres really not that much to explore even when that seemed to be the main point of the game, everything is oversimplified, combat, farming etc.
Really expected more from that pricepoint.

Is this game good?

I played Rune Factory 4 and absolutely loved it, but I heard Rune Factory 5 was kinda bad so I stayed away from it. I haven't gotten a consensus on this one yet and $60 is a lot so I am hoping to get more info. In comparison to Rune Factory 4, how good is this one? What things are different / the same? I have seen some discussions, and it looks like there is a village building focus here. Is that the main focus or is it still more farming related? How is the relationship system? I heard Rune Factory ...

Adjusted the frequency of certain Woolby voice lines.
Fixed an issue where player names could not include character names from the game.
Fixed an issue in which certain Bonding Quests and main story quests could not progress.
Fixed an issue in which some Ema Plaque Requests and Village Missions could not be completed.
Fixed an issue where the Sacred Treasure "Parasol" could not ride updrafts when the framerate was too high.
Art book and soundtrack were updated with minor corrections.
Other minor fixes and adjustments.

Rune Factory 5 wishes it was this good!

But in all seriousness I played ALL DAY. It's an excellent addition to the Rune Factory series and so worth all the time and money I spent. The graphics are good, the voicing acting is actually nice, so many characters to like or not like, and it's just an over all smoother experience than the previous entry. There's so much to do that you will lose track of time.
