Here's my review of the Steam version of Goddess of Victory: Aeons Echo

After extensive gameplay, I must strongly advise against playing the Steam version of Aeons ECHO, and here's why:

The Steam version has undergone significant modifications compared to its mobile and Nutaku counterparts, particularly affecting free-to-play players. Several powerful characters that were originally available in the standard pool (such as Athena and Persephone) have been moved behind paywalls. Similarly, previously accessible characters like Goddess, Cerberus, and Siren now require premium currency to obtain. The Guild Auction's Golden Fleece system, which allowed players to exchange for character skins that provide combat bonuses, has been completely removed. This means that players cannot obtain skins

The progression system has been significantly altered, nearly doubling the time required for character development:
Weekly Star Compass acquisition reduced from 5 to 3 (Nutaku vs Steam),UR character advancement requires 16 shards(3 months vs 5 months)
Limited access to Titanium Steel (weapon gacha currency) - only 5 purchasable weekly with premium currency
The Exclusive Artifact pity system requires 50 pulls (approximately 2.5 months for F2P players)

The monetization model has become more aggressive compared to other versions:

Removal of the Exclusive Artifact selection at level 200 in Star Moon Relics
Summon Elite Artifact pity increased to 180 pulls (compared to Nutaku's 120), requiring 50% more investment
Spirit banner pity increased to 180 pulls (compared to Nutaku's 120)
Various other monetization pain points in packages and event rewards
Players need to spend twice as much to achieve the same progression as other versions

I cannot recommend the Steam version of Aeons ECHO, especially for F2P players or light spenders. The modifications made to this version significantly impact the player experience through extended progression timelines and aggressive monetization. If you're interested in playing this game, I would strongly recommend considering the Nutaku version instead, which maintains a more balanced and player-friendly economy.
