NEW

Text Chat now indicates a small “new” message whenever a new message is in the chat box allowing players to be aware that other players are trying to communicate.
Spatula items can now be found at Sketchy’s in the Kitchen. Sure it’s good for burgers but it’s also good for whacking.

UPDATES

Flamingo damage increased from 20 to 25.
Pool Noodle damage reduced from 25 to 20.

FIXES

Fixed an issue where players joining mid-session had a black screen and did not spawn in when entering orbit.
Fixed an issue where players joining mid-session could not use text chat.
Fixed an issue where the compass was not working while spectating.
Fixed an issue where too many crucifixes were spawning. Players get 1 for 1-4 players and 2 for 5-8 players.

There needs to be an option to disable Oxygen

Maybe make it part of the swimming or have toxic hazards. As it is, it's far too restrictive as it runs out far too fast and kills you far too fast. Combine with forgetting to top off when dropping off items you're just going to die 10 feet from the ramp. It's an unnecessary mechanic in a game with limited health and inventory that already incentives players not to stay out too long. If someone wants a hardcore difficulty to keep the mechanic, go for it, but as is it's just simply un-fun in a game with s...

Sketchy's Halloween Part 2! 0.0.7.1

Hi everyone! Halloween Part 2 is here, Officially kicking off Sketchy's Halloween (and you thought I was done Muwahaha)!!!!

I am extending the The Halloween Event out until Nov 14! (The new map is a permanent map so don't worry it's not going anywhere). Here's all the juicy details!

New

New Halloween Event Exclusive Pumpkin Skeleton Skin!
New Darkwood Item “Witch Crucifix”. This item can be found in Level 2 of Darkwood in the front half of the house (roughly). What does it do? Here is the description when scanned: “Expels evil (one use)”.
New Hidden Plush added to Darkwood!
3 New Halloween Weapon Charms! There is now a Halloween Themed Gotcha that contains only Halloween Weapon Charms. This will make it much easier for players to get their Halloween Charms before the event ends.
New Halloween Treat Weapon Rack located at Sketchy’s with 3 fun two-handed weapons similar to the pool noodle for you all to have some fun with!
New Furniture Item – Bubble Machine!
Both Skethcy’s Radio and your Boombox now have 3 Halloween music tracks so you can jam out with spooky vibes!
Players can now turn off the lights in the ship. It’s time for some disco parties!

Updates

Most of the updates pertain to Darkwood based on community feedback.

Darkwood level 0 layout has been slightly modified for a more equidistant run from the medbay to the east (catacombs) and west sides of the map. This will help with some O2 management sense the run will be slightly shorter.
Oxy, Toxy, and Jelloti have been removed from Darkwood as spawnable enemies.
The Wood Witch now has a weakness counter. Visit Sketchy’s data to see what it is.
Darkwood Hidden plush descriptions on how to find them has been updated. Hidden plush will tend to lurk in certain areas around the map making it easier to narrow down locations to use the EMF on.
The Ouija Board duration for “RUN” has been reduced form 5 seconds to 3.

Fixes

Fixed an issue where the new plush were not collecting up to their maximum and only displaying 1 owned.
Fixed 1handed melee weapon holding orientations for all skins.
Fixed an issue where Ouija Board run mechanic could fail in the player changed directions and lowered speed too much.
Fixed a few navigation areas where AI got stuck in Darkwood.
Fixed a few areas where players could fall through the map in Darkwood.
Fixed an issue preventing account bound plush from being placed back-to-back.
Fixed an issue where the eat chips emote would sometimes not work.
Fixed an issue where dead body loot would stay shrunk when taken out of the freezer by clients.
Fixed an issue where 1 handed corpse shrink while held if placing a 2hand carry item into the freezer.

NOTE - Halloween Exclusives will ONLY be available during the event. However, Halloween Cosmetics are Exclusive to the Halloween Event and are Account Bound, so once you unlock them you don't have to worry about losing them on individuals saves.

Quick Note – For anyone looking for the Ouija Board, it only spawns in the Level 2 House currently.

UPDATES

Claw Machine spawn logic has been reworked to improve load performance and consistency.
Claw Machine RNG logic has been reworked to improve the chances of winning a prize.
With the recent increase to Suit Level Cap, claw coin reward scaling has been adjusted to the following: Players will gain a baseline of 3 coins per contract plus 1 coin for every 5 suit levels.
Ghoul Bat Corpse is now 1 handed carry and quota reduced from 35 to 20.
Evil Pumpkins quota increased from 18 to 28.
Evil Pumpkin, Ghoul Bat, Mimic Chair, Werewolf, and Wood Witch have been added to Sketchy’s data.
A map wide wolf howl will now happen at 8PM to warn players that the wolves are out

FIXES

Fixed an issue where AI could enter the ship but not leave it.
Fixed an issue where the client-side light source that provides item visibility in dark areas was not working making it difficult to see what you were holding/where you were aiming.
Fixed an issue causing Elizabeth to not be dropped properly which led to dupes.
Fixed an issue where Elziabeth was not held in the correct orientation for various player models.
Fixed an issue where the shrink ray and boombox were not reflecting the correct amount of energy.
Fixed an issue where the robot dance was not working for the Ouija Board.
Fixed an issue where Ghoul Bat would block the screen for Cardboard Box suit (is now one handed).
Fixed an issue where Ghoul Bat was not falling to the ground properly after dying.
Fixed some plush that seemed impossible to grab in the claw machine.
Fixed an issue where AI could not cross various doors in Darkwood Level 2.
Fixed an access crate spawn area that was inside a tree.

Question for solo players

Does anybody know if the medical generator is something that once slotted in you can't take it back if you don't end up using it? I can't remember how it works and it's been ages since I watched anybody play the game to know how it is after the solo update to it. Pardon if already asked somewhere, I tried looking for keywords about it on here but nothing popped. I forget there is a discord though....

Idk how common of an issue it is but are we supposed to lose all out loot when we load the game again i left the night before with 570$ worth of gear so i could sleep and when i relaunched the day i lost it all and had nothing to turn in for my quota of 350 also when my game crashed due to a loot error failure i lost everything again i really like the game and am starting to make progress but its frustrating when you lose it all for no reason

WOW.
here I was thinking this was gonna be some cheap wannabe Lethal Company, but after that first send I had with the squad, this deserves it's flowers like LC, bringing another enjoyable co-op horror with a flavour that makes it rather unique then a copy of something,

Keen to sink 100 hours into this, so after a few more sends&streams I'll come back to update this review,

but hey if you enjoy horror games and got friends to dive in with; (even solo would be fun, scary and a challenge) then this will be a great for y'all

Difficulty selector or custom settings?

Now, I read the "Lose ALL items and LOOT on full wipe?" thread and I was going to add my thoughts there, but my thoughts include a little more than just that aspect. I wish there was a difficulty setting, because not all gamers are the same, and I was playing with two friends yesterday and we were doing SO GOOD... until we weren't. It was the last day of the contract, we had FINALLY got to security level ONE by staying overnight (I don't know how anyone gets to security level access 2 or 3, it seems utter...

Since update joining a game gives a black screen

since the new update ive tried to join many Open lobbies but every time i join one now all i get is a black screen. cant hit esc or anything that brings up the list of ppl in the lobby. cant even hear the game or the people in the lobby. So every time it happens have to hit alt f4. quite annoying and hope dev fixes this issue...

Lose ALL items and LOOT on full wipe?

That seems stupid but why it completely EMPTY OUT the ship from everything if you wipe? I mean.. i can somehow understand the stuff lost that you brought with you but WHY all the stuff inside the ship that wasn't touched? PS: As full wipe i mean when everyone dies during the exploration....
