Favorite Space Fauna?
Anyone got a favorite space fauna? Both for cloning and just one they think is neat? Personally, my favorite for cloning is probably the Tiyanki given how useful they've been even if a tad more expensive on food. For my favorite little guys, the Crystalline Entities are neat! Dunno if they're good at all but definitely neat to look at!

Gotta say the Cuthuloid is my new favorite so far. I just wish the game would stop culling my adults so I don't have to wait like 20 years before they'll breed :sadpug:

I've had auto-culling turned off, and been caught up in dealing with a situation and not micro-managing my vivarium. Invariably it gets full, and the 1st to go are the oldest & highest quality specimens since they take up the most room.

I turn autoculling on... and same thing. I had carefully shepherded 3 void worms from nymph to troika, along with some crystals and cuthoilds. Got into an ugly war with a neighbor, and by the time I remembered to check my vivarium, they were chock full of commons and rares, all the higher tier ones having been culled.

The culling feature needs an option that includes quality. If the collection can auto sell items based on rarity that are in storage, why can't the vivarium be set to do the same?

I honestly would love if the Vivarium had more options for setting up auto-culling. Maybe set a certain percentage of it before it starts to cull, certain growth cycles it can cull to avoid losing the adults or to specifically keep only a certain number of breeding ones! Quality as well should be an option so you can either try to get higher quality material or to just farm the better ones!

On a personal preference thing, I'd also just like it if I could have an easier time keeping my first or favorite named space fauna

In my 1st play through I nurtured my 1st exceptional amoeba from a hatchling to a mother of hordes.
The game culled her w/out my knowing. RIP Lapmoz
