In the meantime if you are interested in a copy of the world you had on our servers you can write to support@playfulstudios.com
Sorry, can't proceed without their direct input - please have your friend post here or contact support@playfulstudios.com if they need assistance.
The game links the guide which explains the new multiplayer system: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rAeuk7qFinUyPRJGk4x6Dim3rmQN2zoLaR3PNR0roU4
Long story short, could play on the same LAN without any special steps (almost), could host the world behind one's own router (requires adding port forwarding to the router among possibly other steps), could host on a remote server (in which case the world should be visible or at least reachable via direct connection).
If more help is needed about this, the player hosting the world should contact support@playfulstudios.com or - better - contact me directly on Discord to receive live support - entuland#7134
If you're not hosting the world there's nothing you can do to sort the problem out, it has to be solved by the player hosting the world.
In the meantime if you're interested in a copy of the world you had on our servers you can email support@playfulstudios.com or DM me on Discord - entuland#7134
