nothing done to discourage/prevent trolls
if there's someone running rampant on the server preventing any credit/anem gain by constantly stealing at metalworks and throwing bomb parts in the fire at wartime there is literally zero way to prevent them from ruining the server for a few hours until they log off. if you kill them it just punishes you and they can just immediately respawn. how are you even supposed to play when these people are online? and it's a pretty frequent thing because they know they receive zero consequences for doing it

I don't know what they precisely said, I was banned there a few days ago because a mod thought I was some guy's alt account.

stealing at metalworks is easily avoidable and I don't see why throwing a bomb into the fire is a big deal at wartime they can only do that once every like 5 minutes or something anyways and it's not like it'll kill people that aren't literally right there looking over the fire, they literally just patched out multiple forms of griefing and stealing idk what you're whining about

Do you think they're complaining about someone griefing by getting parts from the crates themselves, throwing them in the fire, then waiting out the cooldown so they can do it again? That's not even griefing, it's equivalent to just not going to wartime at all. They're complaining about people grabbing others' warhead parts and throwing them away.

Btw, the fix here is adding an Anam penalty for destroying bomb parts during wartime.

I logged on, went to wartime, hit a prole off my screen, lost 5 anems, got slaved.

went to metal works where there was a limitator abusing the hitbox while we were in the furnace for 2 hours last night, on top of people not even grabbing pipes and just relying on stealing ore.

a prole would purposely get himself to one shot to run infront of you so you lose 5 anems, and the controller would search that body and kill you so you become a slave.

Top tier gameplay. Slave best job for anems?

Btw, the fix here is adding an Anam penalty for destroying bomb parts during wartime.
That's only a problem if you just leave warheads lying around on the ground and if you do that you're just asking for somebody to do that and there's not a reasonable way to patch that out at all so idk why people are complaining about something like that without even proposing a solution

The cortex hitboxes being broken is definitely a problem and limit baiting is incredibly annoying and degenerate gameplay, extremely fun to do though lmao

Easy fix would be to change the hitting behavior to be that if someone is sitting still and hitting, you are not counted for combat purposes at all,
and are instead punished by way of losing health for being a dumbass and getting yourself hurt
Add a check to see if you turn x degrees to hit someone beside you and bam, troll proofing

It should prioritize whoever sat still first and take into account PoV (so you cant be punished for hitting someone you cant even see)

You want to make it so if someone is sitting still and hit someone they instead take damage instead of damaging the other person? Weird solution that feels like it would hamper gameplay in certain ways but technically work, I feel like hitboxes should just be addressed instead of a roundabout solution like this.

Idk why we lose more than one anem for killing a prole. actually. The fix for cortex is just allow them to be hit in work zones without marking the prole with a limit.
