Undiscovered Systems
This is kinda ridiculous. With how long this game has been running and it's absolutely ridiculous playerbase, trying to hit the 8 undiscovered systems is feels next to impossible. This really should be changed to consider the current state of the game, rather than just say "good enough" and screw people who want the Normandy.

The many existing threads on this topic...

The easiest and most reliable method:
put steam on "offline mode", launch NMS again and complete the mission

You can also easily find undiscovered systems by jumping a few thousand ly away from the expo area, picking a random direction using free look... (it took only one or two max range jumps for me to reach an undiscovered system and everything around it was also undiscovered)

There are about 2 trillion stars per galaxy. Less than 1% of Euclid has been explored. This mile stone is very doable.
Brma 19 NOV a las 10:36 a. m.
- go to anomoly
- go to random community base
- fly up/down and away from the center (pick waterless and dissonant-less stars as they are least visited)
- profit

Such a small % of it is discovered, you need only travel perpendicular the flow and only a few jumps will get you out of the expedition area. Even if everyone does it.

Each jump away from that area between start and finish improves your odds by a compounding factor, so a waypoint set to any position on the outside of the galaxy will get you there in a few jumps.

These are less doable options when starting a new file on this, and my Hyperdrive is low quality, meaning I need to jump far, far more to get far from the site. But I appreciate the original suggestion; that was a solid answer.

People who are unable to just use a forum/web search, should not complain that loud about how _other_ peoples inability to do things right.

Just saying.
Solution: Play offline.
Either disconnect your system from the internet, put steam on offline mode or block communications for the game in firewall. But just play that online and you'll do it in 15 minutes.

If you're talking about doing this for the Expedition, those started unexplored 1.5 weeks ago.

Did it yesterday in maybe half an hour:

* Get a Warpdrive upgrade that grants you more range. I didn't get one, but this makes it way faster/easier.
* Optional: Use the Anomaly's teleporter to jump to a base in a different galaxy (noted in the tooltip).
* Find the closest Black Hole, jump through it.
* Repeat this once or twice.
* Set your travel goal to the core of the galaxy (this will give you a green line.
* Travel away from the line, jump as far as you can (base limt should be 100ly I think).
* When you enter a new system, sooner or later the popup upon arrival will say "First Contact". That's your cue that it counted. Once you found such a system, you should be able to make way shorter jumps and it should still be undiscovered/new.

Two minor notes:
- Get at least 20, better 40 Warp Cells (Antimatter + Housing) before starting.
- Don't worry about tracing your path. You won't have to find your way back, just call the Anomaly and teleport back home.

You don't need any upgrades, don't worry too much, Deck yourself in with some Warp Cores and then just try to do it. While on it, halt at stations and look for Warpcore Upgrades, you don't need a top notch one, even +67ly or so will help tremendously.

Just get away from the expedition area, but I recommend not heading straight for the core. It shouldn't take many jumps to get out of the dense area. My ship jumped around 1500LY per jump and I got clear in just one.

It screwed me over during the first Beachhead offering, resulting in the only expedition I didn't finish during the original playthroughs. I have since learned the tricks suggested on the multiple threads on this topic: upgrade hyperdrive and warp away from center/exp route; portals; black holes.
Shabby 20 NOV a las 7:21 a. m.
No tricks necessary, just disconnect internet.
ZerØ 20 NOV a las 8:18 a. m.
U do not need disconnect internet.... its very easy. Just go through a black hole, warp as far as your hyperdrive will allow.

I did that, and I discovered the 8 the first time around... because I discovered the first one I went to, then I just kept warping to the next ones I went to.

I used one of the rendezvous portals and put in some random glyphs for an address to go some random place.
-Aya 20 NOV a las 1:36 p. m.
you would need to be REALLY REALLY unlucky to hit discovered systems often, in my 142 hours of playtime i found only two discovered systems without using portals
