This is Finger tip, the developer of Hypotheses on the Symmetry between Vision and Hands.

In an upcoming update, we plan to add support for button-only controls—no sticks required.
The current stick controls will still be available, but you’ll also be able to control the left hand using the D-pad and the right hand using the four face buttons.
As part of this, the button for opening the menu will be changed to the Start button.

Here’s a summary of the input changes:

Current Controls

Left Hand: Left Stick
Right Hand: Right Stick
Open Menu: Y (Xbox), X (Switch), △ (PlayStation)
New Controls

Left Hand: Left Stick, D-pad
Right Hand: Right Stick, Face Buttons (XYAB / ⚪︎△□×)
Open Menu: Start Button
These updates should make the game more accessible and easier to control.
