We’ve transformed the Hospital and Industrial arenas into Halloween playgrounds, dripping with all the eerie trimmings you could want: cobwebs, jack-o'-lanterns, creepy lighting—you name it, we’ve got it. They’re here to set the mood and add a little extra chill to your spine.

interacting issue

game will be working fine but after 2 or 3 round go by it wont let me interact with anything such as opening drawers or cash boxes. i can pick up items off the ground But cant use any of the doors, sometimes i can punch them open but its a struggle. and when this happens the saws are not moving and the monsters stay in one place and nothing can hurt me....

Public games limit the experience unless you have friends and do private matches. So I am looking for people to play with, add if interested. I'll also be playing public for a bit so feel free to join me if you see the lobby open.

Welcome to the latest chapter of 7 Minutes in Hell! This update is packed with new arenas, stickier traps, sneakier employees, and just enough chaos to make you question every life choice you’ve ever made—let’s dive in!

🎮 GAMEPLAY CHANGES

New Arena: Campgrounds
- Grab your flashlights, and don’t wander too far from the group—this new arena will keep you on your toes!
- Warning: Beware of campfires and overly friendly forest critters.
New Sponsor Item: Sponsor Tokens
- The Sponsors are feeling generous! Collect sponsor tokens hidden inside the arenas and extract them to unlock upgrades in the Shop.
- Look under "Upgrades" in the Shop to purchase these arena upgrades!
New Employee Alert: Shadow People
- Think you’re safe checking lockers? Think again.
- If they find you, it’s relocation time—whether you wanted it or not! (Where you end up… well, that’s your problem now.)
Trap Updates: Mimic Door
- Good news: It’s less likely to break your bones!
- Bad news: It’s still very hungry, just slightly more polite about it. Proceed with caution.
Employee Update: Spectre
- Friendly reminder: Stop staring! The Specter *hates* being the center of attention for too long.
Employee Update: Gelly Cube:
- Sticky Situation: Watch your step—getting your foot stuck will slow you down.
- Faster Blobs: They move with surprising grace (and a bit of jiggle).
- Slimy Sneak: Can now slide under doorways. No hiding behind closed doors!
- Feed the Blob: It grows bigger if fed… maybe don’t feed it.
- Splitting Behavior: Attack with caution; blobs may split if hit hard enough (chainsaws are especially... effective).
- Pro tip: Splitting one blob just gives you double the trouble.
Greenroom Upgrades: Coming Soon!
- New Workbench: Soon, contestants will gain access to detailed item info through this handy hub. Study up, or stay in the dark—it’s your call.
Shop Update: Item buy/sell prices have been adjusted—shop smarter, not harder!

🔧 BUG FIXES

Circuit Boxes:
- They now work properly! Maybe the screamers were just messing with the wiring before.
Day End Bonuses:
- Stacked items are now counted accurately. No more missing out on rewards!
Bodies, Bodies, Everywhere:
- Skeletons will no longer stubbornly linger after being picked up. Nobody’s left behind... unless you want them to be.
Other Minor Fixes:
- The usual behind-the-scenes tinkering. Nothing worth celebrating... or is it?

Episode 0.03: Limbs, Laughs, and Lockers!

🎙️ Welcome, welcome, welcome to another 7 Minutes in Hell patch notes update! Get ready for the latest round of fixes, tweaks, and surprises that’ll have you screaming for more!

🔧 Bug Fixes

The Specter’s been getting a little clingy! Hitching a ride with contestants? Not on our watch! Those whispers and onscreen effects no longer overstay their welcome. Now, you’ll only be haunted for the right amount of time!
Sponsor shoutout! Ever tried ordering from Amazoff? Their deliveries might be slower than this punchline, but your Sponsor Boxes will now show up right on time when selected for the round. No more delays, just pure chaos!
What's that smell? Feeling a little lightheaded? Well, that gas was messing with more than just your survival skills, but don’t worry, the Truck Timer at the end of the round is now immune to those fumes. You’ll escape in style—or not!
Hold onto your gear! Our trusty (and slightly mischievous) employees have been told to stop stealing flashlights from contestants who are downed and holding an item. You’ve got enough to worry about without someone swiping your light!
Folks, we've had some sneaky shenanigans with that Motion Detector! If your team extracted with the sensor still buzzing, those SFX decided to join the afterparty in the lobby—and stuck around for the rest of the game! That’s right, the Motion Detector didn’t know when to quit… until the player left the game. But don't worry, we've pulled the plug on that persistent party crasher! Now, your ears can enjoy a well-deserved break between rounds!
and of course, those minor fixes not worth mentioning.

🎮 Gameplay Changes

Knockout Power Unleashed! - Now, contestants can knock each other out! Whether it’s accidental or intentional (no judgments here), be careful where you swing! Friendly fire just got a whole lot funnier.
No body left behind: - That’s right! You can now carry the bodies of your dead teammates.
Revive Tweaks: - Get knocked down? Time to get up again!
- Brief burst of Constitution after Revive - No more instant KO’s after being revived in a trap! —because who wants to die twice that fast?
- Each time you go down, you get back up at 50% of the health you had. Half the health means half the revive time! But heads up—your downed state time will be halved.
- The revive penalty? Gone! Team work makes the dream work, baby!
Arm Penalty Changes - Alright folks, let’s talk about those Arm Penalty changes—because losing a limb shouldn’t mean losing your whole game! If you lose an arm, it’ll cost you—but here’s the twist! If you manage to take that arm with you to extract, the penalty fees are slashed in half. And the more arms you bring, the more you save! That’s right, contestants—the more limbs you collect, the less it’ll cost you. Who’s ready to haul their way to victory?!
Arena Upgrades:
- Lockers - Cashboxes and items can now spawn in lockers, sometimes placed on a convenient eye-level hook. Lockers aren’t just for hiding anymore!
- Circuit Boxes - What do these do? Circuit Boxes have been added to the arenas! Smash these and we’ll leave the rest for you to figure out.
Employee Updates:
- Queen Spiders - Health and damage have been reduced.
- Little Spiders - Now spawning in smaller groups with reduced health and damage.
Greenroom Updates:
- Cupboards, Drawers, and Fridges can now be opened!
- Greenroom upgrade clipboard moved to shopping/sponsor area.
- Unlockable disco ball has been polished.

🔊 Audio Improvements

Falling Damage SFX: The sound of gravity just got real. That’s right, we’ve added crisp fall damage SFX to remind you when you’ve bitten off more than your knees can handle!
Charging Statue SFX: Now, when this creepy figure powers up, you’ll know it—whether that’s comforting or terrifying is up to you.

👁️ User Experience

Subtitles On by Default - That’s right, no more hunting through settings! Subtitles will now be on for everyone, so you’ll never miss a scream, a spooky whisper, or my dazzling commentary!
HUD & UI: We’ve given your HUD a makeover—fancy, right?
- Now you’ve got an updated display for Battery life.
- Health is also displayed front and center in the form of a heart.
- LMB/RMB interaction keys are displayed above your item containers at the bottom of the screen! No more guessing what button to press in the heat of the moment. We’ve got your back!
Player Names on Uniforms: Speaking of backs, Player names are now plastered on the backs of your fellow contestants! Unfortunately, you can’t admire your own backpack, but hey, now everyone knows who’s got their back—literally!
Big Red Buttons: What does this button do? The store chute and exit van buttons are now illuminated and labeled! No more guesswork—just clear, clean visuals to keep you focused on survival and spending your hard-earned cash!

Can't Connect

Boyfriend bought me this game but every time we try to start a game it doesn't load me in. Seems to just not let me get any further than the lobby. Does anyone else have this issue?

idea - User Id tag display

I'm having difficulty discerning who I am speaking too, so having a ID tag display or even a name tag on the character itself would be very helpful discerning between friends.

If you are looking for a better version of Lethal Company this is the game to play! It has a lot of the same vibe but with better graphics. Anyone who loves looting as well as jump scares will definitely get a kick out of this game!!!

Pros:

No two rounds are the same as the maps are procedurally generated.
There are collectibles to keep.
Numerous ways to make money, not just loot items.
Jump scares are definitely a plus to me.
Very fun in a group of friends (up to 4)
Active dev team looking for feedback.

Cons:

Minor things such as the flashlight II doesnt seem like an upgrade.
Could be more jump scares.
Need a group of friends to get the full experience.
Items could use a description. (especially when trying to figure out what to do with items, even a HINT would be nice)

Overall I am very pleased with the game and will continue to play. Cant wait to see whats coming out next!
