Why Early Access?

We chose Early Access to make Sol Cesto the best game it can be. After releasing and regularly updating our demo for nearly a year, we realized that your feedback is crucial for balancing the game and making it as enjoyable and complete as possible. Early Access will also give us about 6 extra months to add many surprises to the game. 👀

Is The Math Wrong? Question... (Not 33%) [Dev, Please]

I found a tooth that says: "+50% attraction to chests. Longer reload of sun power (+1)." In a scenario that we have one chest and three monsters, we have: 25% chance to go to the chest, 25% chance to go to the monster A, 25% chance to go to the monster B, and 25% chance to go to the monster C. This item could be additive or multiplicative. If it's additive then we gain flat +50% chance to go to the chest which is is too much so I believe it's multiplicative. Sol Cesto Demo - Next Fest Update !

Helloooo everyone!

As you may have seen, the Steam Next Fest has begun! As we are taking part to this celebration, we're updating the Demo of Sol Cesto!
How big of an update is it? Well quite big. There's a boss in there now, so it's also litterally big.

Before giving you the list of changes, let me thank you all for playing Sol Cesto this far! Do not forget to wishlist the game, and review the demo if you liked it!

Fight against the first boss
2 playable characters
Floors has been rebalanced
New teeth - meaning new powers!

New demo update - new playable character, new monsters and more!

Hey everyone!

We’ve just released a cool new update for the Sol Cesto demo, and we can't wait for you to check it out!

Here’s what’s new:

1 new character to unlock: The Warrior, with a unique movement ability and her own stats and items.
3 new special monsters: The Treasure-stealing Magician, the Musician who boosts his monster pals, and the Demon Rabbit who switches between magic and strength.
2 new items from the Merchant: The Ice Cube weakens all monsters on screen, while the Wrench destroys any traps blocking your way.
2 new items from the Fountain: The Fairy and the Piece of Trash.
A game rebalance for shorter, more varied runs (25 floors).

As this is a demo, you might encounter some bugs or issues. If you do, please don’t hesitate to let us know! You can report them on the Steam forums, our Discord server[discord.com], or via email at support@goblinzstudio.com.

Issue when attempting to launch

A series of three system messages pop up when I attempt to run this. 1: This app requires the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime. It will be downloaded and installed for you now. 2: Installation failed. Art Style: tip of my tongue...

Something about the art direction of the game is right there on the time of my tongue, but I can't quite place it. I know I've seen it somewhere before. It's something between the Shel Silverstine books, the old AD&D monster manuals, and Where the Wild Things Are....

Is the Game choppy for anyone else?

It feels like the game will often freeze temporarily when you move the cursor too fast or when selecting an option. Is this a common issue?

Demo unplayable after update

Hi, great game so far! So much that I redownloaded the demo to play a bit more. Sadly, after some update it seems the game cannot start the first level anymore. After start, skipping the tutorial or not, it gets stuck on the loading screen and can only be closed with Alt+F4. Very sad to see a promising game in this state, I hope you can figure out the problem so more people can experience the game....
