Okay, so, as a game in and of itself, I think Ys Nordics is a fantastic action RPG. I love it. It is very fun and I was going to recommend it.

Sadly out of principle I have to leave a negative review cuz they are planning to release a new version of this game with better graphics and even more content. This is why many people are pissed and leave a negative review. Totally get it, and it's why I also recommend to not buy this game cuz we shouldn't support such crap. (I already played for like 20 hours when this news came out so I couldn't refund). I suggest that if you really wanna play this, to wait for the newer version to potentially come to the west (so far the new version is only known to come to JP). Either way, it's not cool that they decide to do this months after release. Really feels people who love Ys and jumped on this game on release got shafted. Once again shows that being loyal to a game franchise doesn't ever get rewarded. Pretty demoralizing. I hope they will learn from this and start treating their playerbase better.
