Thinking about getting this, but controller issues?
I want to buy this for myself and my girl. She can't play with keyboard/mouse, only controller. I keep seeing people say the Playstation controller doesn't work properly. Is this still the case?

Don't have xbox controller, so won't buy if there's issues with the Playstation one.

whenever i boot up the game it tells me my ds4 controller isn't compatible. havent tried playing with it yet though and I don't really have a desire to

Just in case anyone else checks this thread. I did buy the game and tested the controller. By default, a PS4/5 controller DOES NOT WORK.

You can get it to work, but you have to change the button layout profile via Steam to get it work properly by mapping the keyboard onto your controller buttons (manually). So it can work, but you have to jump through some pretty janky hoops to make it happen.

Hope the devs see this and update their game. It's 2024 guys, this shouldn't be so difficult to get a modern popular controller to work with it...

JFK I just bought this game for my mom and she has a playstation controller. It doesn't work. Really hope the devs fix this.

My dualsense works just fine, you might have to check steam input, if no setting works try using DS4Windows.
