It's done now, great game overall, but even ringing the bell 100 times makes lot more sense than 33 deaths.

Ah yes, the greatest reward: gaining literally nothing, but having a record that you didn't playing perfectly... (That was sarcasm, just to be clear.)

you don't have to fully die I think. just craft 33 resurrection stones and go play in the cave.

This game is rather easy, I assume people don't die much. Only the scarecrow boss and the last one were challenging. we used speed and double HP potions to be sure
