Absolutely. You can control your food menu and how many table to have in the tavern so you don't get overwhelmed. It's just that you are gonna need more time to manage the tavern and side quests alone.

I take more time to prep for each seating, but solo play is definitely manageable. Not having to fund friends also makes helpers a bit easier to get.

Completed the game solo. Can vouch that it is perfectly doable alone.

I keep failing a mission during which you need to protect pillars from animals popping from hell-ish portals.
How people having finished the game solo did manage it?

Yeah, failed that quest a few times . Then i brought potions and tanked so the beasts attacked me instead of the pillars. Having unlocked the best weapons helps too

I need to work the potions part then: almost none have been discovered: went through dozens of helth ones, but I couldn't keep their attention centered on me.

I got the rifle with bullets already (kinda late game on the tavern aspect, farming the missions for completion since then).
