lvl up by serving food and it'll become available, you can change menu for more exp rewarding dishes, you can do that by accessing an open book near a bell on the counter

nope, there is no lvl required for crossbow and sword (in my game atleast)

Ok there is lvl for sword mb, but not the crossbow

You need to complete quests until you get to the glowing creature who gives you crossbow for quest

does the glowing deer give you the crossbow AFTER you complete the quest? I didn't get one yet, and have 1 of 3 bears killed with an axe

i didnt get cross bow either only arrows and im lvl 7
