An enjoyable take on the deck builder genre. Id definitely say its one of the more easier ones to play and beat. Anyone of any skill level can beat it on the default setting. As long as you read the cards you get and take a second to think, you will see what synergizes with what, and you will discover ease to form combos for strong effects. Game has an undo button incase you miss click something or make a bad move. The only downside to using it, is it reduce's your end score tally once you beat the tower your on. But their is no leaderboards so it does not matter much.

Game has built in "build your own lvl and post it for others to play" feature called hero academy (if you dont see it off the bat when you start playing, that means you gotta play through the story to some extent to unlock it), so although it does not have steam workshop tag, it is their in the game for new lvls to play made from other players. Game also has generic "ascension" difficulty for each tower if you want to replay any lvl on a harder setting. That being said, the last tower is by far the hardest as a heads up, definitely require's you to think and plan out each turn but it is very doable.

Best tip i can give for the last boss, is kill the dude's that make you drop your currently equipped weapon asap and dont be afraid to use the exit to restart and get fresh cards if you run out of weapons. Definitely wise to save some resource's to offer up as sacrifice's for it (since if you use the exit with out having earned the "key", your forced to either give up some emeralds, take dmg, loose a key, loose max hp, or add negativbe cards to your deck and these costs increase each time you do this for the lvl your on only).

Thats pretty much all i got to say about this enjoyable little indie title. Definitely worth buying if you like deck builders or even if your looking for an introduction into deckbuilders, since with how fast the lvls can be completed and how simple it is, you will 100% figure out if this game is for you within the 2 hour refund window steam provides for all games, so if this turns out to be something your not interested in or something you dont like, you can just get your money back, ease peazy lemon squeezy.

This game brings something a little different to the genre and does a good job teaching it to you. Very simple to play: move across the board to reveal the cards and try to deal with them in an optimal order, collect loot & spend money to upgrade the deck, repeat. It felt almost too simple at first, but the game gets a lot better as you unlock harder areas and cards that require smarter planning to use correctly.

I've been a huge fan of this game ever since I came across it on Newgrounds. Have likely played all the versions there is and was waiting eagerly for this gem to properly release. Was not disappointed. I love all the new little things! This is a wonderful "little" game with lots and lots of replay value. Never know what sort of build you'll end up with in each run and that's what keeps it so interesting!

Anyone who likes puzzle games is sure to have a blast with this one. Give it a go and watch the hours fly by!
