Love letter to Atelier series - it's a blast seeing Dusk, Arland, and other pre-PS4 era characters get represented in 4K144fps. Performance wise it only stutters on network-related ♥♥♥♥ as in most gachas.

As for grinding, I'm pure F2P and can still clear first three chapters briskly with just primarily using 2* and two 3* gachas. I do question this game's reliance on beef gates which you kinda need max enhancements and equips to clear - that Power rating is real, no such thing as cheesing underleveled teams. Abuse the break system - read the ♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial ffs. The drip of premium currency is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ however the shop has 50% discount tix packs - people that complained this game is stingy surely didn't read that.

Once you're settled in this game doesn't require much time commitment - everything can be skipped, plenty of extra energy. Just grind your main team! Daily clears in just 10 min is possible, enough to level someone.

I’m neither a big gacha player or Atelier fan to be able to see what part of this game people say sucks, but damn, the art is very well executed. Very expressive characters in all cutscenes.
