[FEEDBACK] Ork Penalty is a bit harsh
I think the -4 WAAAGH penalty for the Orks is a bit harsh for this reason.

As you can see it's possible to get multiple unavoidable shops/events in a row guaranteeing a decent WAAAGH bar stat nerf from visiting these places.

While I don't have a problem with the mechanic or the possibility of there being multiple events/shops in a row, I do have a problem with the penalty being this harsh. I suggest reducing it to -3, this would be a lot fairer and prevent players from losing half their WAAAGH bar in one go if they so happen to get multiple unavoidable shops and events.

Yo! At the prototype phase we had it on -3 per Shop/Event node, but then it wasn't that much punishing (as max WAAAGH bonuses are really strong). Also you can still increase WAAAGH while losing battles - each attempt gives you +1. Mostly during the tests, Orcs were holding their WAAAGH at almost maximum, while losing -3 wasnt that much of a deal - the only problem was if you had unavoidable shop/event node generation at Act 4. :er_angry:

I'll keep an eye on this and if more players would find -4 hard, we'll think about patching it back to -3 :er_sweat:

Interesting to know.

I also didn't know repeating battles gave +1 to the WAAGH buff, that's nice info to have, might be able to somewhat use that to get to max buff by losing on purpose sometimes. :tt_thinking:

I do have an alternate balance idea.

Make the penalty have diminishing effect when you hit multiple Event/Shop nodes in a row.

Say you go to a shop node, you take the -4 penalty, if you then jump to a shop/event node from there you only take a -2 penalty instead of the usual -4, it will half again if you somehow hit a 3rd Shop/Event node in a row (which I haven't had happen, but is possible). Diminishing penalty resets once you land on a battle node though.

I think this would be a bit fairer then how it is now.

Anyway, that's all the balance feedback I have for now. The game overall does seem quite a bit better balanced since I played the demo version way back in like May, so good job. :chivsalute:
