I'll keep an eye on this and if more players would find -4 hard, we'll think about patching it back to -3

Interesting to know.
I also didn't know repeating battles gave +1 to the WAAGH buff, that's nice info to have, might be able to somewhat use that to get to max buff by losing on purpose sometimes.
I do have an alternate balance idea.
Make the penalty have diminishing effect when you hit multiple Event/Shop nodes in a row.
Say you go to a shop node, you take the -4 penalty, if you then jump to a shop/event node from there you only take a -2 penalty instead of the usual -4, it will half again if you somehow hit a 3rd Shop/Event node in a row (which I haven't had happen, but is possible). Diminishing penalty resets once you land on a battle node though.
I think this would be a bit fairer then how it is now.
Anyway, that's all the balance feedback I have for now. The game overall does seem quite a bit better balanced since I played the demo version way back in like May, so good job.
