I'm not normally one to review things, and even this review I'm going to keep pretty short, but Irotoridori no Sekai is the first VN that I've had the opportunity to read by Favorite and boy was it a masterpiece. I went in not really knowing what to expect, but it left me with so much. Being an exploration of many different things including family, love, and morality, the way the story seamlessly integrates its mysteries with its slice of life scenes is sort of reminiscent of Rewrite, albeit with completely different characterizations and ideas. The soundtrack is fantastic, the characters are exceptionally well developed, and it even felt like the developers intended for the reader to be bothered by certain story beats, and accounted for that. If you're looking for a new visual novel to read, I can't express enough at how well built this VN is. All I can say is that I'm left hoping for Nekonyan to translate Irotoridori no Hikari next, because even though this novel feels complete, I'm left wanting more.
