How do I use Autohacks? [Solved]
Hello,

Just starting out in this game and I spy a safe I want to open. I have my autohack in my inventory but I can't figure out how to equip or even use it.

I looked at the Quickbar tutorial but that only seems to work for weapons and not items so I'm now a bit confused on what to do.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Pretty sure the button to get the quick items is F-G-H-J.. any of those (the g throws a grenade so uhh.. careful with that.)

Into the hacking screen down right, there's the icon of the authack if have one in your inventory :)

Well I'm at my Inventory screen and I see my items like Energy Bars and things like that.. even some Wine I had earlier but these items I can assign to my Quickslots no problem. Autohacks however I can't seem to even though I have 2 of them now.

I'm going to guess at this point I can't use Autohacks on safes like I could in Human Revolution? Even keypads don't seem to be hackable with an Autohack so... mmh, I'm confused :( I'll keep playing and see what happens.

You have to open the "violate" screen and you'll see the Autohack icon in the down right.

oh I get it now.. if my hack skill is not high enough, I can't use the Autohack. I have to be the right skill level in order to use one.

Ok well that's strange. Thank you anyway :)

I don't know hot it work in HR, i don't have the dlc.
