I liked the atmosphere- it's weird and unsettling like Mouthwashing
Unfortunately the overall experience feels underdeveloped, I never really got into the game

Great game! Even though it's a short game, it really sucks you in.

THRESHOLD is a game that makes you ask questions.

Questions like: "What exactly did I sign up for?"

"What is the point of this?"

"How dangerous is this job?"

"Why can I only speak with my boss in the ethereal static nightmare room?

"What level of horrible tedium and/or pain am I willing to tolerate?"

"What are my benefits? Am I even being paid?"

THRESHOLD (all caps all the time) is a game about you doing a job that everyone insists is important but its unclear why. You've signed a vague contract and you're told to get on shift because the other guy's been on call for the past 18 hours so GET TO WORK.

It's a short bite sized game, so I won't get into details about the reveals that happen, but I will say that I was given flash backs to other horrible jobs I've done. The visuals and sound is pretty good, everything is given a very deliberate "crunch" that's very clearly trying to emulate a specific type of visual style, that still leaves everything clear and readable.

Overall, I liked THRESHOLD, it's a neat little project made by one guy who was trying to do something, the kind of game I appreciate. I give THRESHOLD a "MAN that looks like a lot of OSHA violations" out of "Terrifying mouth feel, maybe I should join a union", would recommend.
